DreamwidthReviews of dreamwidth.org

I've been waiting for months to make this review: Dreamwidth staff is negligent, at best, but at worst? They are complicit in protecting a journal that is used to bully and harass others into attempting to get people to harm or kill themselves over online roleplay. A few months back I reported an entire first and last name + address being posted in an anonymous and nothing, they did nothing, they left the journal up and accused me of being "vague." Well, how's this for vague? You operate one of the most harmful websites on the internet.

Dreamwidth is a very unsafe website to be on. It runs rampant with anonymous users that bully one another and people on the server and other servers. They push people to self-harm, dox people's personal information and private social media accounts, they run rampant with racist and homophobic language. The Dreamwidth admins insist they see nothing wrong with this behavior and refuse vocally and hatefully they'll never suspend journals for bullying people anonymously.

Not sure why they even allow links, I posted a link that added context to my story and they banned my account. I'm unable to recover the piece I wrote and their support is extremely rude.
