As I lazily scrolled through the local farmer's market on my phone between bites of a flaky pastry, an unwelcome heat emanated from beneath my palm. A brief pause later than usual had me wondering if it was just my imagination at play when we were suddenly assaulted by distressing news clips about online scams - our own worst nightmare. I quickly navigated to my account on the off-chance that perhaps a more pressing matter awaited, little did I know then of the impending doom that lay in store for me: Drainerkits had taken it upon themselves to pilfer not only a sizeable chunk but rather the entirety of my retirement savings, subsequently sealing myself out forever. My hands were trembling as an unseen force seemed take control over them - and I'm pretty sure they still are even now, recalling that random suggestion from some benevolent soul in GuerrillaChargeback support chat: if nothing else worked for the unyielding task at hand then maybe it was worth trying their services out of desperation. A portion did indeed find its way back into my pocket sooner than expected and with each step towards recovery came a growing sense of urgency to deal effectively those who so callously had brought us this much stress; I love you, brother.
