Doheman capital and specifically the Wellington Letter is not worth it! It provides nothing but generalities along with his political opinions which are totally false!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Similar experience with the other reviewer. I started out with Wellington Letter, which is peddled by Rich Dad. It was interesting letter but written like a conservative political publication. There were some interesting charts making it look legit and I bought it. Then it starts to market the HedgeFolio which promise stock investment made easy just by simply follow their trade. I paid thousands on the advice but didn't do very well.
Skeptical I.
I am nearing the end of an annual subscription to Wellington Letter and Fearless ETF Trader. Mr Dohmen has an interesting contrarian perspective, which can be read via the Wellington Letter subscription, or by various free interviews and articles, and contrasted with alternative opinions. Fearless ETF Trader and Wellington Letter have a lot of overlapping written content and charts, so in retrospect, I didn’t need both publications. Either I could have read Wellington Letter for the written content and charts, or Fearless ETF Trader for much the same content plus trade signals. I imagine Smarter Stock Trader is the same content as Fearless ETF Trader, but with different trade signals. Fearless ETF Trader is marketed on their website as a publication with trade signals which can outperform the major indices of S&P500, NASDAQ100 & Dow Jones 30. However, during my subscription I tracked performance for the first three months of 2023 and the trade ideas slightly outperformed the Dow Jones 30 by a couple of percent, slightly underperformed S&P500 by a couple of percent and underperformed NASDAQ100 by more than 15%. I may have been unlucky in my timeframe, but as doubts had formed I asked the support staff for performance history of the publication since established in July 1997. They could not provide any form of performance history, and this strengthened my doubts about the performance of the trade signals in the newsletter. Wellington Letter PDFs are removed from the client portal after 60 days, and Fearless ETF Trader PDFs are removed from the client portal after 20 days, so there is no way for a subscriber to calculate historical performance (i.e. before their subscription period) on their own. Before subscribing or trading their signals, be sure to obtain performance history of the newsletter from support/sales staff to validate your expectations of index outperformance which you may have built up from reading the sales page. Their policy is strictly no refunds. I hope this review helps a few investors to preserve their hard-earned capital, and helps Dohmen Capital Research to improve their services.
