This company is a total scam, do not use them for an extortion because they don't do anything other than tell you to block the caller. They will prey on your duress and sell you work you don't need. There is a possibility they are the extortionists as well. They have never sent me a report that could be oped on the scope of work they had provided. Better off somewhere else , I am filling a complaint with the Attorney General in Ohio, and already on BBB Ohio

Scam site that uses scare tactics to try and prey on victims. They will tell you not to block your scammer and ask for thousands to do basic attempts at threats at them and take forever to do so too. Every other website and help service will also tell you they are scammers. Just look at reddit and lawyer websites to see this Look at all the positive reviews that are one sentence and sound like bots. Probably because they are paid bots

I did not receive all the expected services that I paid for. On 6/4/24, there was to be a scan and removal of malicious software for 3 devices, and install the malware and antivirus software, that was to be completed within 3 business days, costing $149.00 per mo. (The scan and removal were not completed within 3-business days.) After the payment was received, days later, it was seen how they then entered twice a verification, of a payment for $11.00 and a different amount, and now that has disappeared, and they are acting as if they don’t know what I am referring to. There was a problem, submitting the Authorization Form, on 6/4/24 and on 6/8/24, I requested a copy that was received, on 6/17/24. I requested it again, and it was not sent until 6/25/24. Neither was what was submitted, because they didn’t have my original initials and signatures. On 6/4/24, I received a questionnaire, for the spyware, cybersecurity and spyware diagnostics, and returned it, with uploaded documents, and told they could not read, nor print the documents, because they did not have access to a printer. I was also sent a questionnaire about sextortion, which my case was never about such and later, told this was sent in error. On 6/10/24, I received an email saying the remote acquisition was to be done, on 7/10/24, and told this was an error, and was scheduled for 6/11/24, and would take 40 minutes to 1-hour, which took almost 2.5 hours. They never mentioned, but later said there is a monthly fee of $12.00 for each device, for the malware and antivirus software installed, then later in the same conversation, said it was $13.00. I now see on 2 of the devices that, it’s to expire 12/1/26. I received 3-other case no. thinking they were related to the 3-devices and told these was from the other cases I had, from last year and prior years. I’ve never used their services, prior to this year. I was told the name of the person related to the cases, and was sent the actual report and findings, of this person’s case. On 6/26/24, I requested the 2nd scan and said I wanted to cancel the monthly services, that was to end on/or about 7/3/24. They said all services were cancelled the day, I made the request, and the 2nd rescan of each-device, was not performed, before the month ended.

This company is a scam for anyone who is interested, I stopped my blackmailing myself but I inadvertently gave them $1500 for the beginning which I disputed and have apparently lost thru my credit card company. I would strongly recommend to try someone else besides this company as they will suck you dry.

I decided to use Digital Forensics pretty quickly after I ran into an issue with extortion. I was racked with nerves and they absolutely took advantage of that. But I felt I had nowhere else to turn. They carry a very high price tag because they know they can get away with it. I agreed to the 7 day service and set up a payment plan with a deposit. At first they were pretty quick about following up and getting started. But it took me a little over a week before I actually got my phase 1 report. They showed me the messages they exchanged with the scammer. The scammer was clearly upset and threatened to leak the content. They were unable to get any confirmation that the scammer deleted the blackmail. So it’s still out there potentially. Thankfully i temporarily deactivated all my accounts and set them up so that a scammer couldn’t locate them using the information they had on me. I also informed my network so they knew. It was embarrassing sure, but it’s what I should’ve done from the beginning. Digital Forensics essentially did nothing but piss off the scammer and sent them into hiding, but is gladly taking a large sum of money (over 5k) in the process. I just feel like I got double scammed. I wish I had read these reviews and taken them seriously before I decided to use their services. I would’ve gone a very different route. The scammer hasn’t contacted me since, but it doesn’t mean they won’t. Digital Forensics will try to push you into getting their phase 2 service to take care of this sort of thing. Don’t do it. I can only speak from my experience. Some reviewers seem to have had this work for them, but it didn’t work for me and I’m still stuck paying a big price tag for it.

DIGITAL FORENSICS IS A SCAM, WATCH OUT. They take advantage of your stress in a vulnerable situation and will tell you stories about other people being framed in order to scare you into signing a contract. I don't know but it strikes me as void contracts and borderline illegal. They actively told me not to consult my family, friends or boyfriend when signing a contract. They take advantage of your stress and fear. If you are being extorted and debating using this service, don't. Just block the person and change your passwords. They're in deep with the Better Business Bureau. I was able to get my case dissolved but I pray for the souls who aren't able to. These people are shady and awful, I legitimately don't know how they could sleep at night. Worse that the scammers themselves. If this is your company, reevaluate your life.

Digital forencsics corp arent straight forward with you when it comes down to prices and plans originally i contacted them for a sextortion that i was going through and they offered me different plans i asked them something affordable that way i can pay them for their services with a worry free problem and they told me that if i dont pay for the priority plan my case will take up to a week before it gets handled and the extorsinist can leak my info and me already panicking from the problem this was the last thing i wanted to hear so not having much choice i followed through with just hoping that it gets done with to find out later on that their phase 2 which is their monitor thing you have to pay as well bc if you dont they wont my info will get leaked I dont work a 5k paying job to where i can add more to what i have and also why am i paying for two services when all i only wanted was just a simple help i never wanted a phase 2 and the way they where phrasing it over when i was talkimg about made it sound like i didnt have a choice and am not the only one having a similar problem there are also people on reddit saying they are experincing similar or worse problems where DFC tells them one thing and changed to something else to prey on their fear and give them a absurd amont of money This is not how you go on about helping people in need giving them different plans or making their fear get worse the BBB also have them saying that people are complainng about their phase 1 and phase 2 plan and to ensure they get their money they have you sign a contract to things you dont want to pay but no giving you much of a choice either beacuse its either pay to avoid exposure from your extorsinist or pay for a phase 1 and 2 plan which will charge you 10k plus for something crazy Phase 1 is the only thing i can give credit to since beacuse they showed me they talk to the suspect and he went away only complaint i have is their priority plan which shouldnt be a thing phase 2 however a service i never wanted in the first place the person who was extorting me left and evem after all that i only got one email from stating that DFC sent 3 emails to the following parties and that was it so why am i paying a extra 3.5k for if this could have be done part of phase 1? All i see its finding ways too add more money to their wallets And last thing is their collection people they are all over the place when it comes to my payments if its not phase 2 billing me extra then is phase 1 behind a payment and then calling from a different numbers like i answer every number and then i get i told that if i dont pay i will face legal allegations but at the same time when i am talking to the person he hangs up on me and claims that the call went down on him but surprisingly it worked well when he was demanding a date for payment I dont like this at all and this team as a whole needs to get their act together and be truthful and honest to their clients i will even put a payment plan on their site so i know what i am paying for instead of knowing over the phone and getting billed for something that i dont need all this is a horrible nightmare that i want to walk away from and might just do beacuse i dont want to be fooled for something that its not right period

I reached out to use their service and they seemed very polite and wanted to help. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to cancel their service within 24rs. I called my case worker several times (and emailed) to explain my situation and never was called back. When someone finally reached me days later, I explained my situation to him and was told " oh .... that was resolved before I called in to cancel". I was initially told that it would probably take 3-5 days. If it was resolved, I should have been notified, but as I said, I still haven't heard anything from case worker. I have now, months later, received a letter from them threatening legal action for non payment. I far as I knew, things were already taken care of. I responded via email to this letter and have not gotten a response. Now, I received a call and email from an employee with the same legal threat. He stated that he included the link to pay which I have not received. I responded to that email and let him know I wanted to clear things up and when I would be available to take his call. I waited for his call and have yet to receive a call from him or response to my email. I now received another voicemail from some other guy with more legal threats. I am beyond frustrated with the customer service of this company as I had to take a day off of work in order to receive a call on the day I asked the first guy to call me. I am not trying to be difficult, but it seems that they don't actually follow up when you tell them to call on a certain day, and just have someone else call when they know your not available issuing the same, and now, more legal threats. All of this could have been avoided if my initial case worker had responded to my email and/or called me back. Update ----- I ended up having to take a second day off work, after writing this review, to try to reach someone to discuss my issues with. I finally got through to an agent, who has been working with me to get this resolved. And who actually called when he said he would, and reply's to emails concerning this matter. I
