Huge scam! Ordered a “Blind Date with a book“ package and only got junk for that… I got some kind of illegal copy of only the first two (!) chapters of a novel. Totally wrinkled, too. Not even close to a proper and complete book or novel I would have expected for my money. Not worth any cent. Really disappointing.

Buyer beware! Blind date with a book is a major scam. They show that you'll be receiving a book in the genre of your choosing along with carefully chosen items themed to match the book. However, what you actually receive is an 8-12 page pamphlet (that ends mid sentence) a couple dollar tree stickers, a single piece of thread (?) & a fake flat flower. When you reach out to them, they will (very insultingly) offer you a $2-4 refund. Mind you, the cost of this package is $19.95 plus tax & shipping. Read Trust Pilot or BBB reviews. Please don't fall for this like I did.

Don’t think you’re getting a book!! Received my order today. You’re not getting what’s shown in the advert!!! I’ve got a crappy leaflet, some poor quality stickers, bookmark and other rubbish stuff. Don’t be fooled by the advert like I was!!! IT’S A SCAM!!!!!!! Nothing like the advert shows

I ordered something called Blind date with a book - in fact I ordered two from this company - they ask you what genre book you prefer so I told them historical fiction and what I received is beyond a joke! I got a page of stickers, a pamphlet of a book which is not historical fiction, a pen and a plastic flower - this is not what was portrayed in their advertisement and to top it off, I got two of exactly the same packaged (so thin the postman was able to put it through my letter box!! I have gone back to them on a number of occasions and their response as is to offer me a minuscule compensation and to tell me that if that is not good enough then it might cost me a lot to return it!! I would highly recommend no one wastes their time effort and certainly not their money on this front of a so called business

SCAM I bought two blind dates with a book for historical fiction, and like everyone else.. I received a Nicholas Sparks pamphlet and a cheapy bookmark, highlighter and a fake flower.... I should have done my research, I paid quite a bit of money and got completely ripped off. I have contacted them, but seeing the reviews I expect that I won't receive anything back. What a load of crap.

Well from reading the reviews of others they must all have watched the video for the purchase. I was a sucker x 2 sounded like a great deal. Was totally blindsided when my date arrived. The could not even think to send 2 different leaflets but Nicholas Spark x 2 . entire contents would fit in an envelop. So now I have 2 highlighters, 2 bookmarks, small sheet of stickers and purple string. They need to be ashamed of themselves. I am surprised at myself for falling for it. a sucker born every minute. Would seem I am not alone. So takeaway from this Buyer beware and be aware.

Only gave a one star to be able to write review or would have given -5 star if possible. All I can say is SCAM SCAM SCAM. Seen an ad that they had blind date with books on sale for $19.98 so ordered two, picked my book themes and paid. A month or so later I finally receive my package just to find that it was all a scam product. What arrived was just the brown paper wrapping, a few sticker, cheap markers, and some string. No books!! So I reached out to customer support and asked for a refund, their first reply was they could refund me 7usd, I replied back that I wanted a full refund and if they wanted the items returned they would also need to provide a return label. They replied again with an offer of $11 and I would need to return items at a cost to me.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is a SCAM. They’re truly criminals. I ordered the blind date with a book, expecting based on the listing a…book… and I selected a thriller. I received two chapters of a Nicholas Sparks book (the size of a small pamphlet). It is disgusting of them. They asked if they could give me $2 to make me feel better. Then they suggested $4. It’s absolutely criminal and disgusting.
