Great experience; 5/5 stars
5/5 stars. There’s a good selection of both designer and niche offerings available on the website and they have 1ml spray vials, which isn’t common. All my decants came exactly as ordered, packaging was nice to look at and kept all the contents safe and secure, the vials are great quality. Atomizers have a nice size spray, none of mine have malfunctioned. Overall a very nice experience ordering fragrance samples. Edit: The issues I previously complained about regarding priority shipping were cleared up, and I can appreciate getting a response from the staff rather than an automated apology. I’ve revised my review to 5/5 stars and will definitely order through them again.
Response from Decant HouseOct 10, 2022
Hello Chris. We would like to clear up a misunderstanding. Our posted policies on our website and also in our order confirmation emails disclose we have a 3-day processing time and up to 4 on rare occasions. Processing time and transit time are not the same. Every order is custom decanted fresh and never sitting around pre-made waiting to ship. Most, but not all decanters have a similar policy. Your order was placed on a Saturday (we are closed on weekends and federal holidays), processed on Monday evening, dropped off at the post office on Tuesday morning and was delivered to you on Thursday. There was “1” processing day and "3" transit days which was (USPS Priority). This is a common misunderstanding with new customers and we make great efforts so that it is visible and transparent. But, with the many emails we all receive on a daily basis, I can understand missing this information and we certainly do not hold this against you. We hope you understand and humbly ask for you to review and revise your rating once you are able to verify our explanation for yourself. Customer service and integrity are very important to us. It is important other potential customers reading our reviews have a very accurate understanding of how our service works and what they can expect. Thank you for taking time out of your day to write your review. -Drew
