Poor communication

I was mislead with information provided about converting from a Chapter 13 to a 7 involving a fore closure,I have bills that were not included, the attorney's do not call you back , they are rude and unconcerned, the wait time is terrible for the intial consult as well. They have not taken care of everything I mentioned on my bankruptcy. John Porter works in the accounting/finance department and is rude, has the poorest customer service skills and demeanor I have ever encountered and his supervisor was no better. Mr. King is the only person at debt stoppers I have spoke to that provided a decent level of service throughout my entire experience. I would not recommend my dog to use this form.

No letters ever sent out to let u know whats going on with your case but if u miss a payment the sure call then, And i still dont know who has the title to my car.

File in November 2016 everything seem to be going fine.I was schedule for confirmation a month later and it was cancelled. My second confirmation was also cancel which led to my case being dismissed. I got a call two days before court I have to refile.And need to come into the office, my attorney never show up. I am in tears ,I hope someone can help me at this time I feel like I am in limbo and is going to lose everything

Debtstoppers lied, claiming they never receiving the paperwork to reaffirm my car loan. I checked in every couple weeks for updates on the aforementioned situation and was greeted by rude, distasteful language. I had to track my way to one of the senior partners to get any answers. He didn't believe that I had called multiple times for updates nor did he find it incredulous that I was not notified of my reaffirmation paperwork "not being received" prior to the discharge of my bankruptcy. In fact, they never notified me of the discharge at all. I only found out later via the lender who held my car loan that they had in fact sent the reaffirmation paperwork months previously and even got a response from my so-called lawyer. The most ridiculous customer service experience I have ever had. You are better off drowning in a sea of debt than trusting your future in the hands of these unsavory characters.

Didn't answer my phone calls. Didn't show up in court for me when I had to go. Didn't file my second course and close my case. But they took my money out of my account on time

This company is horrible and they don't have your best interest at heart. Your complaints to the company brings you nowhere because the company is family owned. If you feel your case was not represented well file a report with ardc. If you need assistance I can help, plenty of ppl have run into ruins by trusting this company. Most of you may not know, but the builders doing your case don't even have a bachelor's degree.
