It was a nightmare....I was advised by my attorney to stay in the Debt longer than I should have by offering to remove my 2nd loan from my home and starting over not realizing that it shows me having 2 bankruptcy and I later did a modification of my home on my own which would have taken care of the 2nd home loan - I paid Debt Stoppers a total of 9 years over $350 a month. It was hard to contact my attorney or paralegal - and after 9yrs of payment after the review I didn't receive no funding back which I calculated I should have - would not advise no one a chapter 13 and never do it again myself - it controlled my life and left me frustrated - not a happy ending.

I have had communication problems with debt stopperscfrom day one. There was always information given that was wrong. At the end of the bankruptcy I had to call the trustee office to get my bankruptcy discharged. I still don't have my title to my escalade after several calls. I guess since I am discharged not through debt stoppers efforts; the law firm could care less about completing their job. I paid for a service that was not completed.and poorly done. They were smart enough to notify me the day of court, so I could not report the trustee and law firm to the judge on the poor handling of my case. And I still don't have my doggone title foe my escalade and no return call from Kyle McGhee!!!! What a headache!!! Use Debt Stoppers at your own risk!!!!!

This was my very first Bankruptcy . I received NO correspondence or direction as to what was to happen next ... no correspondence letters telling me the status . I spoke to at least 4 different people trying to find out information about the status of my case . Very disappointing .SUB PAR customer relations. It felt as if the whole time i was left in the dark .They never reached back out to me when i left a message with someone .... but they were quick and never missed a day taking the installment payments out of my bank account !!! ........... A co worker referred me to DEBTSTOPPERS and i definitely would NOT refer them to anyone else.

My experience was good at the begin of my process.Iam 4months at the end of my bill service with this company .I have a very rude incounter with a person that work for this company.I receive a call about a payment that I was unable to pay this month because my house was Rob everything taken from me at gun point I explain to this person.his words was I Rob debt Stopper and I need to borrow the money I recorded this conversation he was very rude and unreasonable and told me I needed to get a crayon to write with Iam grow adult I came to this company to get away from stress with bills.I told him that I am On social security and get a monthly check I have it set up that it come out of my bank each month on the 4.I ask him can I pay a double payment at the end of July and be paying my August he said no.Right now I am stress out more than ever now .I know this is not good customer service If someone from corporate would like to call me my name is Annette Smothers-Wesson my number is 404 345-9166. I also have not received my discharge after paying the last payoff in March - and they don't return calls and I been in this for over 7yrs after bad advice

If you mess with this company you will be harassed by a man named MR Nelson out of Chicago. He will call your cell phone and leave nasty messages about payment. Even if you have made an arrangement he will still call and try to bully and scare you. Avoid this place at all cost. I still have negative reports even after discharge. I went back to determine the reason, I was told that I did not add it to the list. Then they offered to add it for another fee. Stay away.

Find a different attorney! Was very dissatisfied with the incompetence and overall handling of my case. Would not recommend them.

I think it not fair to treat people wrong when supposedly help them with there problems. Just because you don't spend the right time on the second counsel course they can close your case.Then charge you another 560 to open it back up.You taking the advantages of people not helping them
