Data Engineer AcademyReviews of dataengineeracademy.com

Before I started with DE Academy, I had little hope for senior roles. I had to look for jobs, prepare my resume (not knowing if it is effective), and prepare for the roles at the same time with 3 interviews in 8 months. With DE Academy, they took care of the resume, and job search, mock interviews and skills practice modules. I can put all my efforts in preparing for the job. And I have already had 4 interviews in a month in my target salary range! Thank you DE Academy! It is a matter of time, that I find the role I am looking for.

They have been over delivering the services they offered.

I was in my Senior year of College struggling to find full time computer science roles when I found DEA. Through the program, I was able to significantly increase my SQL and Snowflake skills to the point where I was receiving interviews left and right. Especially as someone who performs a lot better with a structured learning plan and mentors, I really took a lot out of the personalized learning roadmap that my DEA coaches formed for me. After 5 months with DEA, I received 3 full-time offers ranging from 100k-135k entry level positions and ended up accepting one at a quantitative trading firm.

Data Engineer Academy provides a well-structured and practical learning experience for aspiring data engineers. The curriculum covers essential concepts such as SQL, Python, ETL pipelines, data modeling, and cloud fundamentals in a clear and organized manner. The hands-on projects are especially valuable, helping learners apply theory to real-world scenarios. The instructors explain complex topics in an easy-to-understand way, making the program suitable for both beginners and professionals transitioning into data engineering.

I'm a few months into the program and things are going well. I'll be finishing the detailed training soon and heading into the projects and then starting the application/interview stage. I'm improving my SQL skills and learning many new tools. Working with the instructors and 1 on 1 advisors is great. Like any training program, success depends greatly on the tenacity of the student. But the material and the instructors are good and I am excited about the skills I'm acquiring, and what that can lead to in my career.

Great experience. I found the check-in calls very helpful

Que buena que está

Coming from a Software background and pivoting to Data Engineering has been great with DEA. Having some transferrable skills, motivation and discipline, the personalized plan with milestones and regular check-ins has been the perfect structure for me to learn the right things in the right order. Especially the end-to-end projects really cements the concepts of the whole Data life-cycle. If you are targeting a great role, DEA might be the perfect vehicle to get you there. Definitely worth it for the right person.
