she was helpful

Update 6/15/26 - I did get a job in the industry through the program! If you are looking to make a change, it can be worth the investment if you lean into specific gaps you have and really prepare with mock sessions and gap analysis. Prior review ---- The Job apply team & Kajal has been great, and overall very responsive. Mock interview sessions are usually pretty solid. The website and training materials are relatively thorough, but some are a little more polished than others. SQL problems are good for example, some teachers have better projects than others. A lot of it can be researched deeper on YouTube etc. Probably the biggest hurdle and tradeoff here is the cost - ideally they should build some cheaper modular packages as the bulk of the headcount cost is around job phase, mock interviews. Allowing more modularity here would make it more cost effective for people.

I’m still in the learning phase, and Monisha, my new Customer Success Manager, has been very supportive and helpful throughout the process. She is approachable, encouraging, and always ready to guide me whenever needed. Whenever I have doubts or feel less confident about achieving my goals, she motivates and supports me to keep moving forward. I appreciate her continuous support and patience during my learning journey. I will further update my review once I get placed and complete the next phase of my journey.

Helpful and knowledgeable team!

I’m currently strengthening my technical skills with the support of Data Engineer Academy, and it’s been a valuable experience. Cristian, my success coach, has been especially helpful—consistently keeping me accountable and ensuring I stay focused and moving forward in my learning journey.

The encouragement and assistance along with all the available training have been great

I joined Data Engineering Academy with the goal of strengthening my data analytics skills and becoming more confident in applying them to real-world scenarios—and overall, it has been a really valuable experience. What I appreciated the most was how practical the program is. Instead of just focusing on theory, it emphasizes hands-on learning with tools like SQL, Python, and building data pipelines. Working on projects helped me understand how things actually work in a real business context, which made a big difference in my confidence.

The course is well-structured and provides detailed insights into the technical requirements and projects essential for a Data Engineer. Manya and Kajal have been extremely helpful in streamlining access to resources, saving me time and allowing me to focus on learning without having to search extensively for the information I need.
