Questions about my SQL and assistance with coding

I’m currently about one month into the Data Engineer Academy program, and so far, my experience has been very positive and encouraging. One of the things that stood out to me right away is how structured and practical the curriculum is. It’s not just theory; it’s clearly designed around real-world data engineering work. The focus on tools and skills like SQL, Python, and modern data workflows makes it feel very relevant to what companies are actually looking for today. The support system has also been a big highlight. The team is responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in helping me succeed. Whether it’s answering questions, providing guidance, or just keeping me accountable, I can tell they’re committed to my progress. That kind of support makes a big difference, especially early on. Another thing I appreciate is how the program balances learning with career direction. It’s not just about building technical skills, but also about preparing for the next step, which gives the whole experience more purpose. Since joining, I’ve already started gaining a clearer understanding of data engineering concepts and how everything connects. For me, this first month has been a strong foundation, and I can see how consistent effort in this program can lead to real growth. Overall, it’s been a valuable experience so far, and I’m looking forward to continuing the journey and building on what I’ve learned.

The support system here is outstanding—everyone involved in teaching the programs is incredibly helpful, provides clear and constructive feedback, and is always quick to respond. It really makes learning feel approachable and well-supported.

My experience with Data Engineer Academy has been very positive so far. The program covers key data engineering topics like SQL, Python, Airflow, and Git in a well-structured way. The mock interviews have been especially valuable. I’ve completed three so far—two SQL and one Data Modeling—and they significantly improved my problem-solving approach, clarity in explaining solutions, and overall interview readiness. The feedback was direct and actionable. The support from coaches and the team has been consistent and helpful throughout. Looking forward to continuing with more mock interviews and further strengthening my preparation.
