I’ve had a very positive experience with Data Engineer Academy so far. The program has given me a clear learning path and has helped me continue building my skills in SQL, data modeling, and eventually Python. One of the biggest positives has been the coaching and accountability. My coach, Monisha Morugan, has been excellent about checking in with me regularly, often nearly every day, to make sure I’m staying on track with the lesson plan laid out in my Excel learning schedule. She has helped guide me through my SQL lessons and is now helping me progress through data modeling as I get closer to the Python portion of the program. Monisha has always been friendly, respectful, professional, and consistent. Having that accountability makes a big difference, especially when working through a program that requires steady practice and self-discipline. I also like that Data Engineer Academy gives you a structured path instead of leaving you wondering what to study next. So far, I feel like I’m making real progress and continuing to build skills that are relevant to data engineering. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the support, structure, and coaching I’ve received from Data Engineer Academy and would recommend the program to anyone who is serious about putting in the work to build their data engineering skills.

Searching for and landing a job in today's market is nearly impossible without help. DEA takes care of the hardest part which is getting your resume out to as many and as rapidly as possible. Then, when interviews are scheduled, they provide coaching via mock interviews so you go in confident and prepared. I highly recommend DEA to every job seeker.

So far my experience with DEA has been great! I joined back in May 2026 and it's now October. Having 10 years on DA experience I wanted a new challenge and to transition in to the DE field. The course content is very comprehensive and the resources provided are great! The instructors and coaches truly care about each students success. There are videos and several live sessions a day to attend. The mock interviews are extremely helpful. I went from being a basic SQL user to performing advanced concepts and CTE's. I'm currently in the Python section and the content is very thorough with lots of practice problems and hands on use cases.
