After a tough job search, Data Engineering Academy helped me get across the finish line. What stood out was the consistency — regular check-ins, real accountability, and people who genuinely stayed engaged with my progress at every stage. I want to call out a few people by name who made a difference: Chris, Milada, Nikola, Ninad, Kajal, Kalidasa, Kareem, Rade, Rishov, and Stefan. Each of them brought something to the table. Highly recommend if you're serious about breaking into or leveling up in data engineering.

Data Engineer Academy is the real deal! I had a unique situation in that i didn't have a tech background, but have a management background and had a solid working knowledge of computer language and so on. I was able to explain what I was looking to do and I was please to find that they had a path for someone like me that wants to move into more a manager role in tech, by way of a TPM or technical project manager discipline. I like the fact that you have frequent check ins to be able to discuss your progress and as well as group sessions that you can attend if your schedule permits. That is just the tip of the iceberg with all of the resources that they offer. The best part is that you gain or enhance your sill set in a way that makes you very attractive in the marketplace.

Huge shout-out to Manya Nagi and her job application team! They’ve been absolute lifesavers during my job hunt. They are incredibly proactive, resourceful, and made streamlining my applications a breeze. What I appreciated most was Manya’s encouraging and polite attitude, she turned a stressful process into a really positive experience. They are professional, fast, and highly supportive partners.

Currently I am in the phase where I am working with the Ops team at Data engineering academy. Kalidasa is very responsive and effective with any changes or updates we have during the course of Ops teams working.

I started my journey to become a data engineer with DEA more than a year ago. Although before joining the DEA, I already had a decent amount of experience with data analytics and, to some extent, data science, entering the world of data engineering was a big transition that felt overwhelming at first. There are countless technologies and tools out there that take forever to master. DEA provides a clear pathway that helps students stay on course and focus on what matters the most, aligned with the industry standards. I was also lucky to have an awesome success coach, Cristi, who helped make this journey pleasant and smooth. Now that I'm getting close to the finish line, I am looking forward to landing my dream job and officially starting to work as a senior data engineer.

I have completed the program for Data Engineering Academy and I am currently working with their Job Application Support team to help me find a position. Manya Nagi and Kajal Parmar are working with me daily to find positions that match my skillset. I have spent the last several months going through their interview preparation tasks as well. It's been a challenging process thus far, but I'm sure the effort will pay off soon!

I am currently enrolled in Data Engineer Academy, and even in the first few weeks I have noticed how much all of the coaches and mentors care! Had a great experience thus far. I come in with ~5 years of SWE background, but felt I needed a structured and guided approach to leveling up in Data & AI Engineering. My success coach, Ryan Oprea, has consistently kept me accountable and provided guidance in working through my personalized plan to close my skill gaps. He's also taken extra time to help me with ongoing interviews and other questions. I find particular value in the unlimited mock interviews and "apply for you" approach to job searching, too, though I have yet to get to that point yet.
