Misleading $50 Signup Promo – Bait and Switch I signed up for Dalstrong’s email and text list after seeing a promo that clearly said: “Get $50 Off when you sign up.” There were no terms listed — no $400 minimum spend, no mention it was only for a future order. After giving them my info, I got a text saying: “Spend $400+ on your first order, get $50 off your next.” When I emailed support, they confirmed the $400 condition was only in the follow-up message, not the original ad. That’s bait-and-switch. I filed complaints with the BBB, FTC, and Canada’s Competition Bureau. Be careful giving them your info — the offer is not what it seems.
