I can't extol enough the delights of discovering wonderful Cornwall with Dacey's Cornish Tours. Dave's newsletters set the scene and we were never disappointed with what we experienced. I scoured the Net and never found another tour which offers such a comprehensive itinerary covering all of the important places to see. The Minack Theatre is a 'must see' - absolutely amazing!!. Dave, Harry and Tim are a fabulous team, professional and efficient in their work and yet such fun to be with. Nothing was ever too much for them. It really was like travelling with friends. We appreciated the opportunities to have some guided tours and still have plenty of time to explore on our own. A fantastic experience!

Loved seeing the countryside of Cornwall. I appreciated the timeline, accommodations and mix of sightseeing experiences. I ended my tour with a full heart and tired feet with no regrets. David, Harry and Tim were all lovely English guides.

Where to start......David, Harry and Tim made this trip a stand out in my travels. People who know and love Cornwall as 'guides' – I felt they were friends by the end – they were able to share their love of this special place. I am not a big fan of guided tours but this one with a small group was perfect. People who knew what to see and gave us time to see it. None of that 'on the bus in 45 minutes' stuff. And then there is Cornwall – so beautiful, with its charming and quirky villages and coastal scenery that is breath taking. And the accommodations were top-notch. Plus the personal interaction before the trip (funny newsletters and always a return e-mail asap if a question needed answering) was wonderful. Wish I could include pictures but really just go yourself to see and experience this magical place with David and crew.

This is the only way to see and truly experience Cornwall and learn for yourself why so many have fallen in love with this oh so BEAUTIFUL part of England. You owe it to yourself to take Dacey's Tour of Cornwall for many reasons but the most important ones would be 1) personal attention, 2) itinerary, 3) accommodations, and the joy and laughter David, Harry and Tim shared while showing us the Cornwall they love so much. "Being from Norway, this was our first trip to Cornwall. We saw it wasn't easy to plan a trip on our own in Cornwall. We therefore chose to join Daceys Cornish Tours, and our expectations for the tour, based on the website, were more than fulfilled: Interesting and beautiful places to see, to mention a few of them: picturesque small towns as Port Isaac and St. Ives, the Minack theatre, Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the National Trust Property of Landhydrock, the guided tour in Exeter. This may seem as busy days, but they weren't. The group was small, and we think this was part of making the tour a success. David made us all feel relaxed, we were well taken care of and given personal attention. To travel with David, Harry and Tim, telling us stories about Cornwall's history, new and old, showed us their love for Cornwall. The hotels were carefully chosen and had high standard, more than we expected. Before the trip David sent us information and tips about the tour, and was always quick to answer when we asked for information. I have been home from a tour of Cornwall for a week now, and just can't stop thinking of the wonderful time we spent there, enjoying the spectacular scenery and savoring the local foods like pasties and Cornish ice cream. I believe that what made our tour so special is that Dacey's Tours 'intimate size. Also our guides who accommodated our interests. We had time to enjoy our experiences. Also, David, Harry's,and Tim's love of and pride in Cornwall and their eagerness to share the unique beauty of this area of England made for a memorable experience on our part. Thank you so much. Really did have great time on this tour saw so much of Cornwall and David has a way of making everyday feel relaxed, you seem to move at your own pace. We seem to have plenty of time to explore on ouur own . The group was small which is great and the way I like it. David really does give you personal attention he started to email well before the departure date about things I should know and tips about travel, it was so nice and helpful to get those updates. And some of his newsletters are a hoot!! Also have to say something about the accommodation the hotels were great and by far exceeded my expectations. We seem to stay in one great hotel after another which was a great bonus and if I was honest was not expecting such high standard. To sum up I really love Cornwall and this tour seems to enable you to see the different Cornwall from the great gardens to the scenery to the old houses and the history and the modern. Also anecdotes about Cornwall form David, Harry and Tim you get to feel how personal this trip it to those guys.
