Hello Rhonda, Thank you so much for your kind review. We do try to get regular updates, but as you might expect, animal welfare organizations are very busy. Any updates we get about the animals automatically show up on their campaign page. If you have a pet in mind you like an update on, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Animals sometimes also get removed after the campaign is complete or at the request of the welfare organization. We can't usually get dependable updates on these. I do apologize for the inconvenience here, we do make our best effort to keep campaigns fully updated. Thanks for your support and understanding!

We deeply regret to hear that your experience after donating has only been filled with guilt. That is definitely not our intention. Our mission is to help our partners raise awareness of the animals they care for by being 100% transparent with our community on the animal's condition. We help our animal welfare groups in every way we can by showcasing the animal's conditions, recovery process, and needs. While we understand it may feel overwhelming how many more animals need help, we want to ensure we highlight the good the animals receive from donors like you. Hello There, Thank you so much for leaving us a review. We are so sorry to hear you tried to contact us about adopting a dog but weren’t able to get an answer. While we are available by phone, email, and chat, we also want to make sure you’re aware we have an FAQ page and a question dedicated to answering the question about how to adopt an animal on CUDDLY. It is important to note that CUDDLY does not intake any animals, as such we do not handle adoptions. All adoptions are through the shelter / rescue partner who is currently in the care of the animal. However, we are more than happy to help you locate the shelter / rescue if you want to get in contact or you can also search for all adoptable pets on our adopt page!

At CUDDLY, our focus is providing the tools and support to help our animal welfare organizations. Our partners take in so many animals in various conditions, and one of the hardest pieces for them is raising donations. The products and funds partners ask for is to ensure they have enough to help the specific animal in their care. While it’s our hope that all campaigns fully receive the supplies and donations they need, that isn’t always the case with all the campaigns. In instances where campaigns raise a surplus of donations or items, rest assured these donations are doing to good use. Majority of the time, partners have more than one animal in their care, in which case, surplus will go to caring for all their animals. We work very closely with our partners and can assure you they are so grateful for all donations, no matter how big or small, they receive. -Samantha

Hello Patrica, Thank you so much for reaching out to me with your concerns. Please let me give you some insight into the way CUDDLY works. CUDDLY is a for-profit, for-good, fundraising and wishlist platform solely dedicated to verified non-profit animal rescues and shelters. We work with over 3,000+ animal rescues around the world. 97% of the monetary donations made are sent directly to the rescue pet in need of their care. The remaining 3% goes to covering processing fees for our rescue partners, i.e transferring the funds to their account. CUDDLY receives 0% from any monetary donation. 100% of the wishlist items donated go to that pet in need. We do not make a profit off of any wishlist item. Each rescue pet's wishlist is curated by the rescue specifically for them and is optional. All donations on CUDDLY’s platform are tax-deductible as we work with verified non-profit rescues and shelters. We have an FAQ page on our website where we have the most commonly ask questions. Hello Gordon, Thanks so much for reaching out with your concerns. I know we spoke over email, but again I'd like to address why we have the option to donate items to our animals. Our wishlist items are curated but the rescuers themselves, who are thinking of what Nativity will need during his health journey. While right now, he may not need toys, once he is on the mend, things like toys and scratchers boost a cats morale and help to gain strength back too. Most times, fosters and rescuers cannot afford all the things the animal could use due to funding and saving so many animals at one time. The wishlist creates a way to send a get well soon gift to an animal who really needs a pick me up. Most of our rescued animals have never used a toy or had a treat, so showing them new things only helps to create trust between humans and animals. I hope I have helped you gain a bit of insight, but as always, you can donate however you see fit, wishlist items are optional. -Samantha.
