Hello Angela, Thank you for your review, we take your feedback very seriously. CUDDLY is a fundraising and wishlist platform solely dedicated to supporting verified non-profit animal rescues, shelters, and municipal organizations. We work with over 4,000+ animal welfare organizations around the world and 90% of the monetary donations made are sent directly to the rescue pet in need of care. The remaining 10% goes towards additional marketing, tools, and resources to better support our partners and help them reach their fundraising goals. In regard to the wishlist items in our catalog, we are trying our best to lower the cost of the items but I do understand your concern and want to commend you for donating directly to shelters as I know how needed and important that is. Being for-profit, for-good allows us to offer many additional opportunities to our partners such as being able to fundraise for transport vehicles, paid television advertising, and promotional spots on social media. We also provide an email marketing tool that helps to easily send emails at the most optimal times in order to reach their campaign goals. These are all tools that would otherwise be unavailable or inaccessible for many of our partners. We hope this response helps provide you with transparency on CUDDLY. In some cases, the "Items" listed on the donation page may be marked as unlimited to reflect ongoing needs. For example, if Archie requires a specific type of item continuously, it may be marked as unlimited to emphasize that the need is ongoing and may not have a fixed quantity. The intention is not to create confusion, and your feedback is valuable. We continuously strive to improve our platform and communication. If there are specific suggestions or features you would like to see implemented for better transparency, please feel free to share, and we'll consider your input. Hello Tina, Thank you so much for your feedback! There are a few reasons or email lists you may be referring to. Our general email list which you will get no matter who you have donated to, as these are the pets picked for our newsletter, as well as animals who need urgent help. Once you donate to a campaign, you will receive emails from that rescue, unless you ask to be added to another rescue email list, which I can happily do for you! We do not have a system that sends emails to people based on area code. Although, we very much enjoy this idea and will explore its possibilities.

CUDDLY is a free fundraising and wishlist platform for non-profit animal rescues and shelters to utilize. We implemented our tip feature to help us cover the cost of financial transactions and CUDDLY's continuing mission to support rescues and shelters around the world. That being said, the tip feature is also 100% optional. You can opt out of tipping by clicking "custom amount" and typing "0".

We do this by directly providing tools and resources to support animal welfare organizations worldwide. The CUDDLY platform empowers these organizations to create fundraisers and wishlists in order to raise funds and receive donated supplies for animals who desperately need help. In turn, donors from all over the world can make a difference by donating to a specific animal or organization. In regard to the wishlist items in our catalog, our objective is to support animal welfare organizations by helping to provide what they need to help the animals under their care. CUDDLY works hard to maintain competitive pricing and we do everything we can to keep costs low such as working with pet brands and bringing supplies directly into our warehouse. Any and all donations go towards making a positive difference in the animal’s road to recovery and are greatly appreciated. It is important to note that we strive to keep our platform free for animal welfare groups, as such, a reason for why our products may seem higher priced is because we include the cost of shipping, handling fees, and sales tax. In addition, all wishlist items & donations are tax deductible for donors which is explained in further detail on our FAQ page.
