Helping all animals survive is most important
I could be wrong, of course, but it appears to me that when a rescue group needs immediate support so an innocent animal can have emergency surgery, since the doctor refuses to do it without money (that another issue I don't like), you don't seem to step in and help immediately but instead wait for others to make donations. Also, when an animal's life is on the line--as in Lola the horse--you didn't help the rescue group to save her, and she was sent to slaughter, which is a shame because she had been a faithful companion for years until the person died. She deserved better than going to slaughter.
