Updates about donations
Hello,
First of all, thank you very much for the feedback. I was actually hoping to get in touch, as I’m currently going through a disappointing experience with Cuddly.
I’m a recurring donor—sometimes even more than once a day—because I feel deep compassion for innocent animals. In February of this year, I made a generous donation for a dog in Azerbaijan (Aysha, under GWARP’s care), and this is the only case in which I have not received a single update after three months.
I’ve reached out to someone named J..., who promised to help, but I feel I’ve only been given vague or delayed responses. I’ve also submitted three adoption requests for Aysha, even providing a video of my home, yet I have heard nothing back.
This lack of transparency is concerning, especially as someone who donates consistently with the sincere hope that my support reaches those in need. I wish to continue helping, but I kindly request clarity and an update on this case before making any further contributions.
Thank you for your attention. I look forward to your response and hope to continue supporting the animals who so desperately need us.

Something isn’t right
Something isn’t right. In 3 weeks you’ll find your one time type items are still on the dogs wish list. Their IG msgs are bizarre and defensive. They send 10 email per day with NO WAY to unsubscribe. This is fraud. No real agency would be sending daily emails.

If there are any items that you are concerned about, I can happily look into those for you, but our rescue partners are able to add items to their wishlist in either a limited or an unlimited capacity. We leave these choices up to the discretion of our rescue partner so that they can choose the items they need the most.
I would be happy to take a look at any of the IG messages you were sent and I am very sorry if any of them were defensive. Please let me know what I can do to help here and I promise I will get to the bottom of it for you!
Our Customer Service Team can happily ensure you are unsubscribed from any emails you may have received. When you donate to an animal on CUDDLY you are automatically signed up for update emails from that rescue or shelter. That way you can check in and see how the animal you supported are doing! That maybe the reason you are receiving ten emails a day! We do understand that is a lot and we highly respect your inbox. If you need any support with unsubscribing, please let us know and we will make sure this gets done for you. It is impossible to unsubscribe from their emails. I have tried every way they give and none of them work. It has soured completely my attitude to them despite the fact that I am hoping that they are doing something very valuable

I made one donation to my local shelter through Cuddly & am now getting ENDLESS DISGUSTING EMAILS from Cuddly with no option to unsubscribe from them!!
All their unsubscribe options require you to ‘log in to your account’ but I never set-up an account in the first place!
If you support a local shelter ONLY donate on the shelter’s website - otherwise beware!!!!

Not in line with my values...
I'm sure you do great work, but my donation $$$ are limited. I noted in the flood of ads I received following my small donation, apparel for sale, featuring, "Cuddly AF," on the front. I find that to be very distasteful. For that reason, my future $$$ will go to our local Special Paws and the international Soi Dog. I agree with your right to market the apparel, I, however, must support organizations more in ljne with my personal values. Thank You

Such an unethical platform
Such an unethical platform! I donated money through Cuddly to a local rescue for a kitten's medical bills. Afterward, Cuddly started spamming me with emails. Each story was more horrific than the next. They use your emotions to try to get you to donate to more causes so they can charge a fee on each donation. That wasn't even the worst part. I received an email with a wish list for the kitten that I had donated to. When I went to purchase some items for that kitten (through Cuddly) I noticed that the prices were outrageous! A 7 lb bag of dry cat food that was listed on Cuddly for $49.99 was only $16.48 on Amazon. I checked other food and medicine items and they were consistently $15-$20 more on Cuddly than if they were purchased somewhere else. It is disgusting for a company to market themselves as helping animals when they make such a huge profit off of kind hearted donors.

In regard to the wishlist items in our catalog, our objective is to support animal welfare organizations by helping to provide what they need to help the animals under their care. CUDDLY works hard to maintain competitive pricing and we do everything we can to keep costs low such as working with pet brands and bringing supplies directly into our warehouse. Any and all donations go towards making a positive difference in the animal’s road to recovery and are greatly appreciated. It is important to note that we strive to keep our platform free for animal welfare groups, as such, a reason for why our products may seem higher priced is because we include the cost of shipping and handling fees. In addition, all wishlist items & donations are tax deductible for donors which is explained in further detail on our FAQ page.
Being for-profit, for-good allows us to offer many additional opportunities to our partners such as being able to fundraise for transport vehicles, paid television advertising, and promotional spots on social media. We also provide an email marketing tool that helps to easily send emails at the most optimal times in order to reach their campaign goals. These are all tools that would otherwise be unavailable or inaccessible for many of our partners.
We hope this response helps provide you with transparency on CUDDLY. We thank you so much for any and all critiques, as we are always working to improve our business.
CUDDLY is striving to improve our pricing where we can and would love to know any specific items you see that you feel could be priced more effectively. We would love to see any items you feel are too expensive and any alternative pricing you find elsewhere!
