These costs have recently increased across the board, further challenging our ability to sustain our operations. While it's unfortunate to have fees, these updates allow us to maintain our commitment to offering fundraising expertise, tools, services, and marketing efforts to our partners at no charge. Thousands of animal welfare organizations choose us each year because there's no better way to ensure a successful fundraising campaign. Our free platform, support, and services are invaluable to rescues and shelters, and helps ensure animals in need get the help they deserve. Any updates we get about the animals automatically show up on their campaign page, and if you've donated to the animal, they'll be automatically emailed to you. We do try to get regular updates, but as you might expect, animal welfare organizations are very busy. Concerning the tipping feature, we implemented this option to help keep our platform completely free for shelters and rescues to use. That being said, the tip feature is also 100% optional. CUDDLY is a fundraising and wishlist platform solely dedicated to supporting verified non-profit animal rescues, shelters, and municipal organizations. We work with over 4,000+ animal welfare organizations around the world and 90% of the monetary donations made are sent directly to the rescue pet in need of care. The remaining 10% goes towards additional marketing, tools, and resources to better support our partners and help them reach their fundraising goals. Donations on CUDDLY’s platform are tax-deductible and we've helped 46k+ rescued animals in need. Any and all donations go towards making a positive difference in the animal’s road to recovery and are greatly appreciated. It is important to note that we keep our platform totally free for animal welfare groups. Being for-profit, for-good allows us to offer many additional opportunities to our partners such as being able to fundraise for transport vehicles, paid television advertising, and promotional spots on social media. We also provide an email marketing tool that helps to easily send emails at the most optimal times in order to reach their campaign goals. These are all tools that would otherwise be unavailable or inaccessible for many of our partners. These features and our campaign success rates are why nonprofit shelters choose to partner with us time and time again. I do apologize for any confusion with the taxes and fees Next to the taxes and fees section on our check out page or cart, you will see a + sign. If you click that sign it will let you know what you are being charged, either taxes or fees. CUDDLY applies a transaction fee of $2.99 to help cover our business expenses and fees from our payment processors. We also retain 10% of monetary donations in order to support our ongoing efforts to keep our service free for animal welfare organizations. We also endeavor to ensure their campaigns are successful by providing tools and marketing efforts at zero cost to them. Below is some general info on our sales tax policy! To guarantee the long-term success of our business, uphold our dedication to assisting shelters and rescues, and comply with state laws, donors will be kindly asked to cover any applicable sales tax. Sales tax will not apply to monetary-only donations. This adjustment will play a vital role in enabling us to sustain our support for the animals who depend on your unwavering generosity.
