For months, they have been disrupting what was once a quiet, peaceful community in the Hudson Valley. All of a sudden, from one day to the next, they started blowing their horns constantly and at a much higher volume than permitted by law. Of course, they don’t care about taking any responsibility for ruining entire communities’ lives. This is who you are dealing with.

I had a very disappointing experience with Amy a Ship CSX customer service representative on 7/6/26 at 1530 CST. From the beginning of the call, she came across as snappy, defensive, and unnecessarily aggressive. Rather than listening to my concerns, she repeatedly justified her behavior by saying that other representatives from my company, QFS Transportation, had called and given her a hard time. Whatever experiences she may have had with others should not have affected the way she treated me. I also found that she did not listen to what I was saying. I explained multiple times that I was already on the CSX website trying to resolve my issue, yet she insisted on having me perform a Google search instead of addressing the problem I was calling about. It felt like she was more interested in arguing than helping. Customer service should be professional, respectful, and solution-oriented. Unfortunately, this interaction was the complete opposite. It was one of the most unpleasant customer service experiences I've had, and I hope CSX addresses this type of behavior so other customers are treated with the professionalism they deserve.

I am trying to report a train that's blocking intersection and they want everything from you before you can report it which is foolishness! The truck drivers can't turn around because the trailers are too large to turn around in that small street while traffic is building up! They want your address full name and every ridiculous thing they need to make a change about that because they are black in the Street as we speak..

I was a brakeman and conductor. I did not have a regular time to go to work. I went when I was needed. That was the worst part by far. I worked 28 years this way. After that I worked a regular shift. As far as the work, not bad. I worked a lot of overtime. I retired at 60 years of age, with full benefits. Worked 36 years. Yes, it was a hard life, but my retirement is good. To be honest, I would not do it again.
