The resort is rundown and overpriced
The resort is rundown and overpriced. On top of the extreme price for the value, they add fees on top of fees. At a higher priced resort, this is very distasteful. We were charged a spa service fee of 10% on top of the spa fee on top of the resort fee on top of a 3.5% credit card fee for our stay. It’s shameful. The spa is not well kept, with water stains and mold looking gunk in the grout. There were no razor blades available to shave or other amenities. The technician did a very good job, but the spa itself was not worth the price or experience. Overall the food in each of the restaurants was excellent. We had a bad service experience at Gino34 with service. It took over an hour to get our appetizers and when they came they were not good. Mushy. Like they had sat for 30-40 minutes. However, after speaking with the hostess, they switched our sever and things were good. The entrees were great. We spent about $4,000, for 2 days as a couple, which under normal conditions I would have no problem doing for a high level resort, but the amenities are not top notch, they’re run down and additional fees are unexpected and quite frankly absurd. They take advantage of people who already used the hotel and i wasn’t going to argue with the front desk. Do not stay here.
