Croatian By DescentReviews of croatianbydescent.com

The CroatianbyDescent website and portal guided us through all the required documents, apostiles, and translations we needed to complete the Croatian citizen application packet. When we learned of an available Consular appointment, David translated our last minute documents with very short notice, and we were able to make the appointment and submit our applications. We recommend CroatianbyDescent for anyone beginning their journey toward Croatian citizenship.

Our family has just completed 6 appplications for citizenship across 3 generations with CroatianByDescent. Our ancestor that immigrated from Croatia to the United States did so in 1890 so we had a lot of research and paperwork to collect for the process. Throughout the entire process, David was absolutely amazing. Areas where he stood out the most: - Clear expectation setting. David knew how long each step of the process would take and therefore, helped us to prioritize all the steps such as when to request an appointment, when to apply for brackground searches, etc. - Detailed knowledge of individual consulates. Our experience is based in the US, but within the US, David knew each consulate’s process and specific requests. This meant that when we showed up for our appointments, we were exceptionally well-prepared. - Very responsive. David always answered the phone and our emails within a short amount of time. We had a rush toward the end of our application when the consulate offered a next-day appointment. David worked very fast to prepare everything that we needed. Having been to both the NYC and Chicago Consulates and hearing their feedback, our family was literally the best-prepared of any applicant they had seen. While this service is not cheap, it is definitely worth the money if you would like to apply for citizenship in a fast and frustration-free way. With David’s guidance we were able to submit our application within 3 months of establishing our ancestry chain to Croatia!

There were a few unexpected issues but they were addressed promptly.

As a first generation Canadian/Croatian, I have been wanting to get me Croatian citizenship for a couple of decades, and what has stopped me until now was the overwhelming and constantly changing, seemingly vague requirements, coupled with often conflicting information from friends and family members that have gone through the process on their own, or with different consultants, all with varying degrees of extreme frustration. I decided that i needed to rely on actual experts to remove the uncertainty and pain points, so I reached out to highly rated team at Croatian By Decent, and i am Very happy that i did. My experience from the first introduction email and phone call, and throughout the process far exceeded my expectations of professionalism. With a straightforward web portal to track your application process, and expert real human support to answer any and all my questions and expectations, guiding and providing all necessary administrative coordination with translation services and Croatian lawyers gathering necessary parental documents from Croatia and proper certification. Without Croatian By Decent, i honestly would've given up... again. I fully endorse and recommend Croatian By Decent as your way to fulfil your birth-right. Thank you isn't enough!
