Damage claim handled poorly and left unresolved
I had been a Crew Carwash customer, but my experience with a vehicle damage claim was extremely disappointing. On 08/21/2026, immediately after using the wash, I drove less than one minute to the supermarket next door. When I opened and closed the passenger door, I noticed a rattling noise coming from the passenger-side mirror. I then found that the mirror glass was no longer properly secured because an internal retaining clip/bracket had come loose. I reported the issue, provided photos and additional information, and Crew reviewed the surveillance footage. They denied responsibility because the exterior mirror housing remained in its normal position and the wash equipment appeared to be operating normally. However, the damage I reported was internal. Crew later acknowledged in writing that their surveillance footage could not show the condition of the internal retaining component before or after the wash. After I posted a Google review, Crew publicly stated that they hoped to “work towards a resolution” and asked me to contact Customer Service. I did exactly that, but no resolution was offered and I was simply told that their previous decision remained unchanged. The genuine Mercedes-Benz replacement parts alone can be substantial, depending on whether only the mirror glass/backing mechanism or the complete mirror assembly needs replacement, before diagnosis, labour and taxes. I have cancelled my membership and have taken further formal steps, including filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, while I continue to pursue an appropriate resolution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Crew Carwash.
