Extremely Disappointing Experience – Do Your Due Diligence
My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. After entering into a publishing and marketing agreement, I encountered significant issues with communication, fulfillment of services, and obtaining clear information regarding the company's legal contact details. The contract included a 100% satisfaction guarantee if the terms were not fulfilled or if I was unsatisfied, as well as representations of a 200–300% return on investment. However, over a period of 16 months, not a single book was sold except for my own efforts on amazon and friends and family. Despite multiple written requests, I was unable to obtain confirmation of the company's correct legal name, service address, or appropriate contact information for dispute resolution. A courier package requiring a signature, sent to the address provided in the signed agreement, was returned undeliverable. I also experienced concerns regarding the delivery and quality of certain contracted services, responsiveness to requests for documentation, and the handling of my attempts to resolve the matter amicably. After repeated efforts to obtain clarification and resolution, I was left with no choice but to pursue formal complaint and legal avenues. As per the contract, if they did not completed all tasks by 9 months or if I was dissatisfied, I would be issued a full refund. I requested a refund but Crestwood Publishing has yet to provide any return payment. I encourage prospective clients to conduct thorough due diligence, verify all business information independently, carefully review all contractual terms, and maintain detailed records of all communications and transactions before entering into an agreement.
