I purchased a Kwikset 81844 RC/SC/DI 6-Way Deadlatch Service Kit on 4/21/2021. I was billed by Paypal that same day. I was told it was shipping 5/6/2021 and given a tracking number (very slow for an item said to be in stock). As of 5/10/2021 the tracking shows that only a label has been created and that no actual shipping has been accomplished. Update: Received order 5/10/2021 (later in the day on which I wrote this review). The part was slightly different from the diagram of the vendor. I had to grind part of it away to fit. The USPS tracking always showed "Label Created, not yet in system", not that the package was in transit. Craft. Hdwre. can take that up with USPS.

A rare part that I needed was only available as a special order that was three to 4 weeks away. Your representative DID ( thank you) give me the name of the manufacturer. I called them. They had NO DATA directing me to anybody that also had ordered that part. (Pretty poor data collecting) . Instead, that manufacturer gave me a list of their distributors near my area. I called about twenty of those companies- none of whom ever ordered that part. Most were installers, not stocking dealers. In the end I used parts that I modified from other industries. When you are a very small business with very small needs, the buck stops on the dime. It is the nature of sales people to estimate the $ value of a call, not the need. A thorn in a lions paw may not be huge, but, the lion remembers who took it out forever.

Never could get anyone there to talk to me or return my call. Just ordered off the website blind. The lock installed fine, but the two-day shipping took five days, not worth $30. So service performance was not that great.

The customer service seems good but I am still waiting for my items as they customer representative called me the day after I ordered to say it would be four weeks because they don't stock what I ordered. So I don't really know if it is good since I don't have my items.

Your website checkout process needs to be improved. Unable to edit during the check out process, i.e. change of address.

I placed an order for parts they showed in stock. Turns out they did not have it in stock. They called and apologized and cancelled the order. They should have stock reduced as they sell it to avoid selling product not in stock. I did not notice any red flags and I have nothing really negative to say. I may still order from them in the future but will call for stock conformation before order.

No tracking info after purchase, already 20+ days and nothing has arrived yet.

I got this survey before my order, so I cant review any product specifically, however the fact I still don't have my stuff causes me to give 3 stars instead of what I assume would have been 5 stars.
