I am writing this review due to suspected fraud, theft by deception, coercion, and identity misuse involving Corporate Rescue Advisors. The company represented itself as providing legitimate financial relief and creditor negotiation services and was authorized to withdraw funds based on those representations. They withdrew over $18,000 from multiple accounts, including recurring withdrawals exceeding $1,400 per week. I have bank statements documenting these transactions. We did not receive a copy of the agreement until after having to request it. The company did not perform the services promised and never contacted any lenders or creditors. There is no evidence of negotiations, settlements, or work performed. They instructed us to stop paying our creditors and vendors and instead pay them, which caused our accounts to become delinquent and resulted in further financial harm. When I revoked authorization due to non-performance and demanded a refund, the company ceased communication, refused phone calls, and ignored emails. We later discovered multiple consumer complaints and an active lawsuit filed in Florida as of January 5, 2026, including a case in Broward County alleging deceptive business practices and unauthorized practice of law. Despite providing no services, the company now claims we owe an additional $25,000. Representatives threatened that I would be arrested if I filed a police or bank report and stated funds would not be refunded because I reported the matter to my bank, despite prior promises that funds would be held in a trust account and refunded upon cancellation. I have filed reports with law enforcement, state and federal agencies, my banks, and placed fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus. Additional losses are still being documented. Michael Humphreys
