I purchased this mini fridge from…
I purchased this mini fridge from Amazon approximately one year ago. On August 13, 2026, I received an email informing me that these Cooluli 10-liter mini fridges were experiencing serious problems and that several people had been affected. The email stated that some units had caught fire, that the power cord could spark and potentially cause a fire, and that at least one person had been injured. It also mentioned that the product had been involved in numerous accidents. I was asked to complete a form to determine whether my mini fridge belonged to the affected batch. I submitted the form, but I still have not received a response. Considering that this is a safety issue caused by the product, I believe the company should be doing much more than simply offering to send a replacement cord to customers whose units are affected. The defective component should be properly replaced, the affected units should be recalled, and customers should be offered a refund or replacement. Since I received that email, I have kept my mini fridge unplugged because I do not feel safe using it. As a result, all of the products I had stored inside the mini fridge were damaged or spoiled. Some of them were expensive skincare products costing approximately $180 each, in addition to other products. Who is going to be responsible for these losses?
