I purchased the Glock19 Gen 3 compatible trainer and I have it installed on my PSA Dagger. It does take a little bit of "trial & error" to get the fit perfect so the slide lock would engage fully. After it did, I downloaded the free version of Mantis Laser Academy and started familiarizing myself with the Coolfire trainer and the software. So far I am satisfied and I am thinking about how to incorporate more training during my week/weekend. Shipping was as advertised and I have not had any issues so I have not had to contact customer service. I would recommend Coolfire Trainer to folks I know. I do like the idea of training with the most realistic feedback possible.

I love my trainers. The customer service has very professional & helpful. Please note I wrote trainers, plural. My first barrel started having trouble after about 4-6 weeks of use about 5 days a week. I spent the next 6 months returning the barrel every other week to get it looked at (fixed). I bought a 2nd system so I could continue to practice while the one barrel was being worked on. After the 6 months & returning my first barrel 5 or 6 times, they just replaced it with a new one. It’s been about 3 weeks now & no problems, & no problems with my second barrel either. I’m really enjoying my dry fire practice & am 1000 times more consistent than before. Again, the customer service has been great every time I called with questions or my barrel wasn’t working.

Overall product works very well and I am very satisfied. While expensive, this will quickly pay for itself in ammo and range fee savings. Im aware it’s not replacement for an actual range, but it gets the job done in my opinion. Very friendly staff interaction when they called me to confirm my order. That being said there were some things that could be improved. 1. Instructions could be more clear and thorough. For example after firing for a while, I started getting a lot of misfires and eventually determined it was a worn out striker tip. Wish there was a care and common troubleshooting section for stuff like that. 2. For a gen3 glock 19, I had a slight tolerance issue when attaching the quick fill laser. None of the spacer ring combos specified in the manual worked. The attachment is only aligned without using the spacers and even then, the spring protrudes out in front of the muzzle just enough that it scrapes the quick fill attachment when I screw it into position. It leaves some minor scratches on the back of the attachment. 3. It would be nice if the gold package included some kind of weighted dummy mag. My gun felt a little top and front heavy. No big deal, just would be nice. Inserting an empty mag doesn't work. 4. Since I already had a sodamaker at home, it would have been nice to have the option to buy the package without the co2 tank for a discount.

Very cool system, easy to use, fun, but it costs a lot. For this reason I only gave it 4 stars, the electronic targets that come with the gold package are very fun and I really like using my every day carry weapon to practice in my house.
