While Codie was the "Sales pitch" that got me into the program, the value really comes from the community members and experts from Contrarian Thinking that made the program valuable. If you purely look for the educational courses, there are much cheaper ways to do this. But watching videos only got you so far. If you want real time feedback and coaching for your business buying journey, that's the real value and what pushed me to be able to do deals that I wouldn't think I could.

Absolutely love this community! My husband and I are on this journey together. We've gone from knowing 0 about small biz acquisitions to putting in an offer on a business in less than a year! We couldn't have done it without the in-depth training course and this amazing community! Between Monday Night Lives, facilitator offices hours, and a community of like-minded, motivated, kick-ass humans, we feel so supported to reach our goals. We're in this to build our empire and because of Contrarian Thinking, we know we can get there. It's not always easy, but it will be worth it!

The community is priceless. The course is amazing but the real value comes from the masterminds inside the community. I started out shy and lurking in the background but once I started getting in reps on signing NDA's and reviewing financials I started to speak up and ask for help. The community is here for those who do the work and the reward is well worth the investment. I've found the facilitators incredibly insightful as well as have had several very helpful conversations with other community members. It makes a scary thing seem achievable and the resources inside the groups are second to none.

I bought my first business almost exactly a year after joining the community. The up-front investment required a leap of faith but now that I've acquired a business, the investment was easily worth it. The skillset and knowledge you gain from this group will pay for itself tens, hundreds of times over if applied. This path isn't for the faint of heart, and this group will give you what you put into it. The resources and facilitators keep getting better over time. They say you become the average of your five closest friends. If you want to accomplish big things, surround yourself with people who are pursuing (or have already achieved) the same.

The delivery of the message was great, Cody and her team broke every subject down into digestible pieces. I’m no expert but, I now understand and have more confidence when it comes to buying a business. PS: I already signed an NDA, now to follow the steps that Cody teaches.

I joined Contrarian Thinking right before I was planning to buy a company because....I was scared to death! I knew that there was a ton I didn't know and I was terrified to move forward and make a mistake. Through the courses and community I gained the confidence I needed to move forward and...I bought that company. That was just over two years ago and it's been a game changer. Joining Contrarian Thinking was one of the best decisions of my life. To get the most value out of it you...MUST ATTEND THE IN PERSON EVENTS. Meeting like minded people and knowing that you aren't alone in your quest is EVERYTHING. People complain about having to pay to be a part of things like this but they forget that...you always pay to play. You can either pay with your blood, sweat, time and tears or...you can spend your money and learn from people who have already been there and simply walk in their footsteps. Having already done it the hard way, I will pick footsteps every time. I'm still a member of the community because they continue to innovate and provide resources which will be invaluable when I buy my next company.

One of the things I love about Contrarian Thinking is the creative growth strategies... I’ve learned with CT scaling is not just one dimensional in business. So, when I bought a small moving company this year, I utilized those new ideas/skills and expanded with a small retail furniture store. It’s outside the box and I am excited to increase my profits!
