It's important to understand that this community, and all its resources, is an educational tool to be leveraged in your acquisition search. How you leverage it will determine the value you gain. If leveraged correctly, the return on investment is priceless. Personally, I'm extremely grateful for this community. It's helped accelerate my journey in more ways than just professionally.

Joining this community has allowed me to fast forward my learning and confidence to pursue business acquisition at hyper speed. Something that I would have had much more difficulty if I had done this on my own. While the cost of joining the program is pricey, the value provided is there and I was very pleasantly surprised (because I am normally very skeptical with paid programs, especially ones that are largely online) to see how collaborative, inspiring, supportive and educational the Contrarian Thinking Community has been. Codie Sanchez and her team have crafted a very compelling product that I highly recommend. I have yet purchased my first business but I am confident that I will with what I have learned so far. If you’re only half considering things and don’t see yourself pushing hard to get things done (since this is not an easy journey) then I wouldn’t join. But, if you’re determined and someone who can stay focused, serious about acquiring a business, and work hard to achieve your dreams, then it’s very worth buying this no-BS, straight to the point program and joining community.

So far my experience was great and I learned a lot through MSA course and gained lot of insights just by reading through the deal reviews. Office hours with facilitators are great way to interact and get more answers for any question you may have. More than the course I like the community where everyone chips in and provides feedback on the deals. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking to buy and grow a business.

I've been in the community for just over a year and am on track to close as a co-owner on an industrial services company in about a month; I'd be nowhere close to this if it were not for this community. For about a decade I've had this itch to start a business in the trades but didn't have the technical background, and this community totally switched on the light bulb...buy one that's already successful and cash flowing vs. starting one from scratch. If you're really ready to take the driver seat in your career and life, join this community. It's a lot of work, but if you just take it one day at a time, you won't recognize yourself in a year. 1% better every day.

The biz-buying course helps set the foundation for anyone new to entrepreneurship (which was me). The Slack and weekly calls are gold mines of information and learning opportunities. After several months in the community, I feel confident reaching out to owners of businesses that I am interested in, and have definitely increased my knowledge around the finances of buying (What’s the business worth?
