I went to the live event in Austin. It was amazing!! The facility was top notch. The speakers had a wide breadth of experience and communicated well. Codie and her team did an excellent breakdown of the key points of buying a business and what to start looking for. The live deal breakdowns were fun to watch and each one gave a little different insight into how to craft a deal. Even the after party was fantastic and a great way to end three days of wonderful networking and learning. Will attend again!!

Codie clearly has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to buying businesses. And this information is laid out in a great format with the CT online academy. However, what I really value is the community. Both in terms of the knowledge/mindshare they contribute, and in terms of being in the trenches of buying a community together.

Helped me 2.2X my business and probably going to get back much more than what I paid them. The team is just smart and no bullshit. Marc the president is super smart, helped me think through our entire hiring approach. Codie is no bullshit, which I love. Helped me with overall business thinking and strategy. Joseph their head of revenue is great at sales and marketing. Helped me rethink our lead gen system and can probably 2X our leads through what I'm learning through him. You'll meet them at events (either digital or in person). All love.

Nowhere else have I found (in two years evaluating four other competitors) a team and system as beneficial as Contrarian Thinking! Not only were they instrumental in helping me to buy my first business in less than six months after joining but they’re now leading the way to help me dial in the systems, build out our processes, and boost our profitability. I could not have imagined doing this without them.

Contrarian thinking is such an amazing community. I am so grateful that I joined it. This community not only gives you so much support and knowledge in the process of acquiring a business, but they also give you the structure and support in understanding your needs and making sure that you are thinking through not only the financials but the reality of what it takes to be an owner and to maintain and grow that business. It is just like they advertised, real-life business school. I am amazed at how much I have learned and grown being a part of this community. They have already helped me achieve my goals with my first acquisition. And more than that, developing an owner mindset in all aspects of my life.

The environment they’ve built is empowering, inspiring, and laser-focused on helping every member succeed. I’m not just excited about this journey — I truly believe in it. At this point, the question isn’t if I’ll be successful, but when. Contrarian Thinking has given me the tools, mindset, and community to make success not just possible, but inevitable.
