My family hired Justin Paperny and talked/worked with Michael Santos to help understand and move through a federal investigation that impacted our entire family. Our discussions resulted in a dramatic shift in strategy that both saved us numerous headaches, but also resulted in a better outcome. The advice we received, while not always what we wanted to hear, was always spot-on. Securing strong personal letters from family, colleagues and friends (just enough, but not too many) also helped. And finally, having a heart-felt personal statement that I gave during the sentencing hearing that focused on my crime, my remorse, and my desire to what I could to try and make amends Vs trying to place blame on others.
