Classic shaving as a whole is a good company, with great shipping times. i have found however that a few items i have purchased from them, due to photos are different then advertized. to me this means they are much smaller in quantity than shown, or some accessories are little more than what appears to be useless gadgets. so i ordered the "can you handlebar everyday gift set" when i opened the parcel i took the contents out and thought they left the set out. once i opened the "gift set" i was very let down. the actual products were so small and at a $40 price tag, inclosed with the set was an "applicator" that turned out to be a guitar pick? not happy with this purchase or the way it is advertized!

I ordered a Striated Horn & received a black one which they claimed was out of stock. I emailed them shortly after asking if this was an error. Between the time I completed the order and present I have received 5 marketing emails. It took them 24 hours to respond saying they'd send me a return label (which they could have just emailed to me). I asked to have it emailed and have not had a response. For a 70.00 razor I could have bought from a major online company, I was hoping to support a smaller business and have been let down up to this point. Getting 5 spam messages but hardly able to provide your customer what they wanted is unacceptable.

NO packing slip for returns/exchanges, you are on your on. I won't order from them again.

It took 2 days to ship my order. Then I had a question and I got. I response. Was looking forward to a long relationship here.

At this date and with the available tools, you should communicate to your customers, when you received a $200 razor and automatically give us an estimated time to shipping back to us.

If I get the rest of the order, I'll change it to 5 stars.

I was expecting more honestly. I previously bought a HartSteel razor on eBay and it was not shave ready despite the seller insisting it was the edge it came with. I expected this one to be nice out of the box. It was not even close. the bottom 1/4- 3/8 of the blade was not even mildly sharp and there were marks on the scales and a small nick/ scratch on the blade out of the box. Took me an hour on a sigma 1200 to get the heal of the blade to start touching the stone. I was expecting much more

I've ordered from Classic Shaving before and received great service and products. This time I ordered a handful of products, one of them Crown shaving cream. Item arrived, I unscrewed cap smelled it and put cap back on. It smells like a piece of spearmint gum. I was told I was unable to return it once it was opened. When I ordered by phone I was clear about the scent I liked. I definitely didn't want this. What's worse - I can't even give it away. Every person I've asked if they want it opens it and says they don't want to smell like a stick of gum. Why would I order from you again if I can't return items I don't like?
