ClassicShaving.comReviews of classicshaving.com

Great help on the phone, a solid (though not comprehensive) variety of products. Competitive pricing, with promotional deals available that can represent relatively good buys. Shipping is not particularly expensive, but is not insignificant when compared to an Amazon Prime vendor. Website has quite a bit of functionality, but as with most tools that are more powerful than average, requires a little bit of learning. Overall, lower total prices are available with a little bit of patience and creative shopping on Amazon; but for those that prefer dealing with staff in real time, and don't mind paying a little more for service from an independent company, this is a very good option.

I've ordered from Classic Shaving two times now. The first order was for a Hart straight razor, Hart razor and brush stand, and quite a few other random small things. I had a bit of a mix up because I wanted to return the razor and stand because I didn't like the cocbolo wood, and that all went smooth considering the stand didn't make it to me. The lady simply said they'd refund that to me when they got the razor, so that was great with me. No big deal. Classic has pretty good prices and an average selection. I say average because it seems like all online wet shaving supply stores have the same problem: they can't keep their stuff in stock very well. That's also why I gave four stars and not five. I'd just like to see Classic or another store grow their selection of straight razors, specifically, as well as all other hardware, and keep everything in stock. I understand it's hard to keep up with demand when they aren't the manufacturer, but I wish they could improve a bit!

I have always enjoyed my purchases from Classic Shaving - even if the product was only safety razor blades.

got blades in decent time, blades works good , but for some reason not as sharp as previous ones need extra pressure to shave

I'm very happy with the products I get. I am NOT impressed that it takes them several days to ship anything out.

The service provided was great however I would have liked to know the bottles were plastic rather than glass. I don't believe that was stipulated in the product descriptions and it detracts from the product slightly. Overall the service itself was good, and everything arrived on time - even to Australia. I will be buying from classicshave again in the future. Thank You

Simple outer package,I like it. This razor feels solid and sturdy as what it says on the web page. With the shape of holder , it makes it easier when you're shaving. Though it has some dust and a small defect on the holder when I got it , I think it's still a nice one .

This will be the new go to place for my shaving needs..
