I purchased a 3" leather and linnin strop and was very pleased with the promptness of delivery and the high quality strop. This product is well made with quality material and has improved my razors edge greatly. The only disappointment was the shave cup which was made of plastic. I was expecting a better quality such as a ceramic cup.

I have been a customer for over a decade and have never had an issue with either products or service. However, that streak has been broken with this most recent order. The particular item that has been an issue is Classic Brand Shaving Brush Cleaner, item# CS-BR-1. I received a packet of this with a recent brush purchase on eBay, and was very satisfied with its performance. Unfortunately, the batch I ordered had leaked out of the six paper packets - every single one of them. Fortunately, they were enclosed in a plastic bag, so only a portion was lost - ending up all over the rest of my order. Not knowing how much was originally in each packet, I've assumed that a sixth of the total was lost, and have divided the remainder into five parts by volume - a lot of bother for a six dollar purchase. May I suggest either packing portions in individual plastic (ziplock?) bags or even better, in a jar or tin with a measuring spoon or cap that could serve as one.

Good range of products, however the cut/paste fairy has rendered some product descriptions a bit repetitive. For example there is little info to decide between two differently priced yet apparently identical Illinois strops. After adding an item to your cart you are taken there, making ordering multiple items slow, and the default quantity defaults to zero, which is UI design 101. Assume I want at least one. International shipping is USPS 1st class, when slower and cheaper would suffice.

Fast shipping and great products. The mug that I ordered did have a little color flaw around the lip (maybe it was dropped before packing for shipment). Nonetheless, it was a great gift that will be used often.
