I bought the black frame mounted highway pegs
I bought the black frame mounted highway pegs and couldn't be happier. My new bike's d3tails are all black instead of chrome and I knew I didn't want to torque highway pegs to them and had seen these advertised in various places. For me they are great, you have some articulation to place them where you want them, I placed mine so I can perch the toe of my boot on them and my heel on the floorboard, stretch out some for comfort on the highway parts of our ride to Laconia.
