So far, I like it a lot.
So, let's get the negatives out of the way first... it is a bit of a rough ride with mediocre suspension, it is very slow and I may replace the lead acid batteries with lithium for more power and torque. The parking brake is janky and I need to get it serviced as it does not completely stop the vehicle and I have to park on level surfaces for now. It is a manual rather than automatic and as a nondriver this is a bit to get used to. It is very hard for other motorists to see on the road, so keep a safe follow distance. All this taken into account I find this to be a solid investment as a reliable vehicle for someone who has no license or the desire to pay for insurance & gas. It will pay for itself within months for what it saves me on uber and lyft. I will never have to hit a gas station and most of the repairs are pretty easy to do myself. One beauty of these cheap electrics is their simple construction. I am not a mechanic or engineer or any kind but the build is so sparse it is easy to figure out what connects to what under the hood. These vehicles are common all over the rest of the world outside the US. Nearly half of China's motor vehicles are small EVs like this, and it is a very sensible and practical alternative. They are selling out everywhere I look and I had to shop around a bit before grabbing this one up. I have enjoyed the last couple weeks of riding it immensely and it has afforded me a freedom and self reliance I have not had in a long time.
