My 80 year old father received a letter dated 10/19 that his health insurance coverage was being terminated as of 12/31. No other information provided. After calling and being transferred a few times, they finally told me that his county (only 25 miles west of downtown Albany) is "no longer being serviced, so we can continue to provide high quality health insurance coverage" to other counties. WHAT?! The counties they ARE covering are further distance away from Albany. This is nothing more than corporate greed penalizing rural, farming communities. SHAME ON YOU.

Their prior authorization policy is so slow it almost killed me waiting for a medication that I simply cannot stop without going through withdrawals and it's a newer medication so they don't realize there is a such thing as withdrawal. I asked for prior authorization while on the road and by the time I got to the pharmacy it was there. Cdphp takes 72 hours to get a prior authorization and that is dangerous!

I have been with Cdphp’s for years when I worked and now on retirement. I’ve been pretty happy until now For seniors they have raised our rates not to give us more but less You have taken away our 50$ quarterly expense for goods like over the counter products What really upset me wat the abolishment of the glass allowance of 300$ I just got my glasses that were 400$ and couldn’t have gotten them with out that 300$ Of course you wouldn’t know what that’s like You should be ashamed of yourselves you know seniors or use glasses just about This is the first time I am considering looking at another Insurance company I can’t be alone I’m afraid to see what else you have taken from us You no longer are set apart from other insurance companies CDPHP can’t even be used in other states Let that sink in

I have contacted CDPHP about unauthorized release of personal and health information. I found out they were releasing my information to ROS law firm. I filed complaints and instructed them not to release any personal information to them. CDPHP had ROS law firm add me to their do not contact list. A few years went by and I was contacted again by ROS Law firm inquiring about medical services that were received. This was in violation of the do not contact request. CDPHP has failed to resolve the matter and has continued to release information to this 3rd party.

Their automatic billing system doesn't work. It failed to process my payment. Then CDPHP canceled my health insurance. When I called, they admitted the error was on their end but I needed to speak to New York State of Health and they transferred me. I spoke to NYS of health and they said I had to take it up with CDPHP. After hours of back-and-forth CDPHP gave me a case number and said my account would be reinstated if I made a payment, and that autopay was setup for future payments. They then transferred me to their Chase payments system. The person I spoke to said I had to take it up with NYS of health, I gave her my case number and then transferred me to 866 243 1321 which is just a phone system that plays ads. During the hours that this took, CDPHP representatives hung up on me multiple times
