A little hard to get the zippers together (due to never being flexed into the zipper.) Immediate interest and laughter as they pawed each other through the peekaboo hole. Currently taking turns playing 'hold the castle', otherwise known as 'MINE!' Withholding the 5th star until I see how long it holds up to my female scratching it.

I really should give you 5 stars because the one cat that has found the Cattasaurus loves the fire out of it. I have 3 black cats. Two very big boy kitties, and a very petite (but very round) prissy girl kitty. EstherMarie rules the house even though she is the smallest and youngest of all. That is including the German Shepherd, the Mini Pitt, and the Chiweenie service dog. Edison, the my rambunctious boy kitty loves the Cattasaurus. He ambushes dogs, cats, legs, brooms, mops, the rhoomba, just anything that comes by the opening. The only downside is that they are so big. I ordered the large because I have huge boy kitties. And have had problems with beds and items saying large and Edison & Einstein don't fit into them. They would hang over the side. Well, buddy when you say large, you really mean huge. All three cats got into one yesterday. It went fine until the Chiweenie went to check it out. Then all you know what broke out. So, I really like you product. I just wish I had either ordered one large, or ordered two small ones. You do have a nice cat cave, and bar the Chiweenie trying to look into the cave, my one cat, Edison loves it, and the other two seem to be catching on fast.

My two 8yo cats liked these, but weren’t too crazy about them after the initial experience- they were more thrilled with the box it came in- lol! I will try separating the two pieces and see if they like them better opened up. Overall the product is durable and super easy to put together. Cattasaurus might consider shipping it just as it is with a simpler paper outter wrapping(to reduce waste)- seems durable enough to do so.

We have 2 Torties and they are still getting used to the big donut in the room. If one is in it, the other other won't go near it yet. We know this is temporary. We have a tall cat cat tree as well, and it took almost 3 weeks for them to accept the structure in their home. We've caught them tagging one another through the window, so acceptance is on the way!
