It was a an amazing experience for me and my daugther and forever grateful for this once in a life time opportunity for all young talents to showcase their ownself . We enjoyed ourselves all the way through. This was such a supportive group of people and families. My son LOVED the experience. He learned so many valuable lessons and connected with other kids who were amazing and supportive. This experience for us was well worth the effort. Casting Call was a great group to work with. We were skeptical at first and the last minute emails and calls were a bit hectic. Though understanding the scheduling and with Covid we can see how it could be a little crazy. The tips from professional actors and the experience my son had paid off. We are signing with an agency and we both learned many tips to being successful. It is a life lesson. The actors and agents were supportive and encouraging. If you go in with a mindset of growing yourself as a person and a person in the entertainment industry. I think this experience was amazing. The showcase and awards were so very fun. On the flip side - I would not pay extra for the luncheon as you meet the agents and they see you anyway. I think a day of early prep and guidance would also be helpful. We love IPOP My son has a great new group of friends. I have met some wonderful parents as well.

I went through the motions. We attended the convention. I paid for these services so please hear me out. This is not a fast ticket to fame!!! Its not a free pass. I have been working with Casting Call for a long time now with my daughter. Due to covid restrictions, we chad our IPOP LA Convention post poned. IPOP then moved us to Orlando, Florida. Which was spectacular!!!! (we took many photos) I have much i can say about this. At first i said the same, its a scam and its just out for money etc. Which i am sure this is how they make their living, but, I sat with it. I went through all the BS. the paying immediately, the fundraising the paperwork the hectic and sometimes chaotic scheduling. But I will say this, If you say to hell with it, put yourself out there, get that loan(if you have to) pay the company, make sure your child/self, practise your monologues skits, actually take that leap, then its an amazing experience. I had sooooo many people tell me about the scam and its not worth it etc. But you know what? It was. Research the industry. what it entails. What you as a parent needs to do, what they as little actors need to do. This was unforgettable. Yes you pay a lot, you INVEST in your child/self. its a fun and exciting opportunity. My daughter met so many other children and made new friends. She met Famous actors, and agents/managers. She literally sat with and bullshitted with a manger for an hour! she got to hang out and take pictures with kids currently working with Disney. Our Director from Casting Call was amazing. If you ask the questions she answered them. She let us know what was happening for our week of events at IPOP Orlando every single day. You need to be on it. DO your research. Make contact with your directors. Remember its supposed to be a great fun experience for our kids. A couple of down sides, I wasnt happy to pay for the luncheon with the agents. It just wasnt my thing. to each his own though. And the over all Ipop dinner was ok. Again each persons taste buds are different. I had just expected more i guess. (picky eater lolol) My daughter was not a fan of the big dinner. I wouldnt go out of my way to pay for them. Since dinner was included i was ok with that. ;) When meeting with the agents/managers, i would hope to have more from our visiting countries, or agents open to having talent from other countries. But overall, this was great. It starts with Casting Call but does not end there. From my daughter and I we loved it. We loved the people we met, the knowledge weve gained, the experience, of acting on stage, in front of cameras, agents/managers, closed sets, on the runway, and even the red carpet! it was worth every damned penny. A trip of a lifetime for me and my daughter.

My daughter and I had the best time. It was so fun to see her doing her things and making new friends. Even though it was chaotic at times which comes with being in this industry, I feel the casting call inc. kept us informed and was there to help whenever we needed. It wasn’t cheap but they worked with you with payment plans. With a little bit of planning and if you are able to go, the experience was priceless. Everything takes work, but this give you a chance to start something beautiful.

Coming all the way from Dubai, we had absolutely no idea of what the IPOP event could turn out to be or what such an event encompasses. At times we wondered if all the efforts and expenses would be worth it. In fact, even a day before the event, we saw nothing conspicuous. But as the program enfolded, we could appreciate its scale and its purpose. The competitions and the seminars were very relevant. The panel that spoke in the seminars were affable people who put in efforts to help parents and contestants and understand the industry. Specifically coming from the real world of performing arts, the experience they shared and the guidance given has been invaluable. Casting Call team has done a fabulous job! They stayed connected with us all through the event; especially the morning meetings were very supportive and ensured that all got to know and understand the days proceedings. We were made aware of what role each member of the team played and who to reach out to to should we have needed assistance. Gina- As a director has done a fantastic job. Her work and her efforts have been so very visible even from the time we enrolled through till date. She has been calm, comprised, and even sensitive to little things that a parent or participant may need. Her directions and her support to her team and to others has been spot on. Ellie-Has been outstanding in her efforts to enscale and emphasize on all relevant aspects of the competitions. Niharika and I wondered how she was able to sustain her energies all through the day. She was omnipresent; has a strong personality and certainly is a person who could actually get the work done. Coaches- Each and every coach ensured that they connected with participants. Though my daughter worked with just two of them, I can tell that each one is talented. To say it all, its been a great experience and me and my daughter thank each and every one of you. We take back valuable leanings.
