I had a great experience with Careerist You can watch videos of sessions as part of the program's many tools, which let you make up any classes you missed. There are quizzes all through the course that are a great way to see how much you learn. One of the best parts of the program is the internship, which is made even better by having a personal coach who helps you find a job and takes away a lot of the stress surrounding the process. I had a great experience with the customer service team. They always answered quickly and made sure my issues were fully handled. I thought the whole Careerist team went above and beyond and went above and beyond what I expected in every part of the training.

It's wonderful to hear about your positive experience with Careerist, Abraham! The flexibility to watch session recordings and the support provided by personal coaches truly make the program standout. I'm glad to hear that the quizzes were helpful for gauging your progress, and it's fantastic that the internship experience was enriched by the guidance of your coach. It sounds like the customer service team was equally exceptional in their responsiveness and assistance. Thank you for sharing your feedback—it's clear that the Careerist team is dedicated to exceeding expectations at every turn!

My experience with careerist…
The experience I had with careerist was/is great. If I never need anything they are helpful. The course, the internship, the staff and more really prepares you for when one lands a job after course which they invest time in making sure one lands a job. The experience is top notch the only reason I didn’t give five stars because I have not landed a job yet. When I do I will update it. If you’re looking for help from beginning to end with experienced people in the industry then careerist is for you.

I will save the last star until I land…
I will save the last star until I land my job. I have enjoyed the bootcamp, the teachers are focused, knowledgeable and bring a lot of experience to the class. The bootcamp moves along quickly and I've learned so much that I feel confident I will land my job soon. The actual preparation for interviews has taken longer than I hoped. There is a lot to accomplish to be ready to apply for the MQA positions. I feel supported by all the staff and they all present themselves as professionals.

A good headstart into Tech and QA
This program was a great immersion into QA and software testing. They tell you everything you need to know to land an entry level job in Manual QA and provide a lot of resources to further your interest in the topics you learn about. You get a lot of practice in test writing and bug reporting during your internship and get a good feel of what the job is like. I highly recommend this program for anyone who needs a headstart in transitioning to this field. You're given a lot of support and help with your resume and interview skills, but the course does require motivation and effort on your part. My only critique is that I was hoping for more 1-on-1 feedback on some of the course work, but i understand there are a lot of people in the course and the teachers have to get through all the content.

Overall a Comprehensive Valuable Course
Overall, the Manual Software QA course was fantastic. The course was designed with instructors who have real-world experience. They were able to explain concepts in an easy to understand format. The hands on practice in this course was amazing. Each concept is taught, practiced and tested. The classroom instruction culminates with an internship where you get to experience working for a real company as a QA Engineer. Everything you learned comes to fruition, giving you the confidence to know that you can do the job.
After the internship, you are set up with a mentor who will work with you to create a resume that will get you noticed by employers, help you learn the techniques needed to search for your job, help you to learn the types of questions you will be asked on the interview so you are confident and knowledgable and just generally support you through the whole job searching process. If this isn't enough, once a week graduates are invited to attend a "graduates meeting" where you can ask questions, hear success stories get tips and keep you motivated until you find the job. Need more resources? They have you covered. There is also a graduates Slack Channel (you will learn about Slack during the internship). This is just another resource to help you connect with other graduates, and ask questions and get answers from Careerist experts. There are really just so many resources that they provide to their students, however - in the end it is all up to you to make it the experience you want it to be. I cannot lie, it is a lot of work and you will need to be committed to follow the process that is laid out for you.
With that being said, they will tell you it takes 3-4 months to find a job if you follow the instructions laid out by Careerist. I do believe this is true because I have heard this working for numerous graduates, however, if you are working full time and have a family, it may take you much longer to find a job. This is what happened to me, it was tough juggling all of my priorities. You will need to be consistent even when you don't want to be. I have to admit that I did not follow instructions exactly, but because my mentor Oleksandra was so supportive, I kept with it, and I am happy to report that I eventually found my job.
One other thing to note, you may or may not get the salary you expect to get. Don't get me wrong, I am sure some people do get that high salary, but from my experience, the starting salaries for jobs that I was qualified for right out of the course, were a bit lower than I had expected. But I know that I will get the salary I deserve once I have a little bit more experience.
Again, I think this course is fantastic. I am going from being an Administrative Assistant to a QA Analyst and I couldn't be happier. You can do it too, it doesn't matter what background you come from.
