CareeristReviews of careerist.com

Careerist is such a great tool to use if you are wanting to get into the IT/engineering career. They help you through every step of the process whether you have no experience or a lot of experience. They follow up with you and assign you a personal career coach/mentor that you can chat with over the phone as much as you like. And yes, they really do answer the phone and follow up with you. Anything they say, they will follow through with it.

The Manual QA course was insightful and fast paced full of both theory and practical learning. They align you with Career Coaches and mentors and a real world Internship to hone your Skills. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to break into the IT field, especially those looking to switch careers.

I am honestly blessed by the constant support that I have received since I have started my journey with Careerist in January 2023. During the course stage for the Manual QA tester, the teachers helped me understand best practices of being a QA tester. They prepared me for future interviews and shared their excellent experiences of working in the QA field. They helped me to find confidence in pursuing a career path in QA Testing. The internships helped me to strengthen what I learnt and made me confident that this is the work I want to do. After that, my mentor has been with me every step of the way. I have reached out to them with any questions regarding the hiring process and they have taken a vested interest in my success. Also, all of the success stories shared during the graduate meetungs help me stay motivated during the course and hiring process.

I absolutely love how the courses are concise and relevant. When I decided to go into IT, I didn’t exactly have a lot of money saved up, so long courses with lots of unnecessary information weren’t my kind of thing, since I needed to get done as quickly as possible. To cut it short, I graduated from the Sales course and currently have a decent salary and am looking for a promotion within 2-3 months. Lucky me! :)

Both the Manual and the Automation QA courses were great, though what really made those courses helpful were the mentors themselves. Everyone I spoke to had loads of practical experience, which was very reassuring. The instructors at Careerist, at least the ones from the QA courses, are absolutely spectacular and always ready to help and guide you through the job interviews until you finally succeed! Rarely have I seen such an approach before.

I’ve graduated from the manual QA course by Careerist which is my first experience in tech sphere. I had no technical background before and I expected that it would be quite difficult for me to understand everything. But in fact it turned out to be a really well-structured course with detailed information presented in a comprehensible form. But the best thing for me is that mentors do really help not to give up - they don’t only explain complex issues but also motivate and support. Now it’s 2.5 months after the course, my mentor still keeps in touch with me and I finally have my first offers! I’m very happy and thankful ☺️

Personally loved the Manual QA program. It's not overly difficult, but is still a challenge! You learn a lot of intro tech things and of course in depth about QA. I love QA because it has a pretty high salary and it's a challenge but not impossible to land a job – and QA is a necessary function for tech companies. And from what I see, there is a lot of career growth potential. I think really important is the internship as this gives you enough experience to mention in interviews (and honestly there is no way to even land an interview without some experience). This really lets you jump the curb. They've helped a lot of students get jobs and really know what it takes. The questions we practiced were definitely in the interviews. My mentor helped me along the way and kept me going! If you stick to the program and work you can really boost your income (from about 50k-75k here. – and I know people made even bigger jumps) in just 4 or 5 months. You might be able to learn on your own - but honestly you would waste more time – and time is money. There's no way I think you would land a job this fast on your own and because they really know the industry you get your money worth.
