Account closed after 2 bets and EUR 400 deposit retained with no explanation
I deposited EUR 400 into my Captainsbet account on 01/10 and placed only two bets. Shortly afterwards, my account was blocked. Customer support told me the security department had permanently closed the account and would keep all my funds, including my original deposit, because of "suspicious betting". I asked which specific term I had breached and what evidence they had. I received neither. I have not used multiple accounts, bonuses, or anyone else's payment method, and I offered to complete any additional verification required. I understand an operator may choose to close an account. Keeping a customer's own deposit on an unexplained and unproven allegation is a different matter. I have filed a formal complaint with the Curaçao Gaming Authority (licence OGL/2024/225/0601). Captainsbet, if you read this: please tell me which term was breached and on what basis, or return my EUR 400 deposit. My account ID cannot be accessed due to account block. Until this is resolved, I would advise others to be cautious about depositing.
