Extremely Rude Manager
Hi we've booked this property during the early morning hours on the 15th of November 2025. before arrival we contacted the property to ask if they had available when the lady who answered said they do at R1000 but they are not sure if there is availability as bookings.com had 4 available rooms and that they allow early check-in at a fee of R100 which we were aware of because we've previously paid that fee for booking during early morning hours. when we arrived at the property the reception staff were rude and stated that their system is still stick on the 14th of November and they will be forced to charge us R1000 for the previous evening we did not want to and requested to speak to the manager Mandy who was up stairs sleeping, and had her boyfriend Trevor come down to speak to us. we then agreed with her boyfriend that we will wait for morning hours to check-in and pay the R100 for early check-in he took our suitcase and told us we could sit in their lounge area on the 1st floor until Mandy wakes in the morning. this morning at approximately 5:50am Mandy approached us very abrupt, rude and arrogant as well as extremely unprofessional in her pink pajamas and accused us of trespassing demanding that we leave, we explained that her boyfriend gave us permission to sit there and said we can wait until she wakes up in the morning but she continued to shout and had security escort us out saying we must come back and check-in at 2pm. this is totally unexpectable all staff including Mandy apart from Trevor was extremely rude given we've been regular guest at this property. we are disgusted by this service and treatment for paying guest to be put out with no explanation or opportunity to explain why we were there. I'm expecting to be compensated for the humiliation and false expectations set by Mandy in all our previous stays with Cape Pod. not only is she rude and arrogant but the place is not even up to standard she over promises and underdelivers.
