Cape Cod Cafe Best Pizza in the World!
I just received my order of Cape Cod Café frozen pizza through GoldBelly who ship anywhere in the USA. Here's what I wrote to them: Cape Cod Café, which is located in Brockton, Massachusetts, invented the original bar pizza and has been making them since the 1940s. My mother told me she used to go there with her friends after school and her dad would stop in for a beer after work. Over the decades whenever I was visiting from my residence in UK, Arizona, or Chicago, it was always the first place I'd go to to meet family. Several times I actually had my dad send these pizzas to me using ice bags which were melted by the time they got to my address but somehow the pizza survived. Other times my visits back east would have me hauling several pizzas in my carry-on luggage. During one visit over a decade ago, I spoke to the owners and suggested they should have their pizzas available to order and shipped to people in dry ice. I also suggested making them available in local grocery stores. They eventually did both and even opened up several other cafés in the area, which have become very popular. So it looks like I wasn't the only one asking. Anyway, if you ever get a chance, you should try one of these pizzas. You'll never go back to eating normal chain restaurant or frozen store-bought pizza again.
