Cannon are the first futures trading company I have been with but so far they have been excellent! The account was straight forward and easy to set up. IIan & Kimberly are always super quick to respond to any emails I send. So far I have had a great experience with Cannon trading and would 100% recommend to anyone looking to open a futures account.

As a recently introduced client to Ilan Levy-Mayer and the Cannon Trading brokerage, I am sad to say that I am simply unable to provide any unbiased review with pros and cons regarding Ilan and his brokerage company. I say this because I am now totally biased. I have been nothing short of overwhelmingly impressed at the level of energy, commitment and service Ilan and his team have unceasingly delivered ever since my very first email communication with him. Ilan proverbially bent over backwards to provide assistance in my selection of platform best suited to my trading objectives, and made full efforts to get me through the application process with as little a headache as possible. Whilst I had originally thought that the sign-up process would be a labored and time-consuming one, I was extremely surprised and in some awe to find that Ilan made things happen in less than a day once I had completed the online application and emailed him the required I.D. documentation. Efficiency is only one of his middle names. He appears to truly be one of the very few people who can multi-task, since I myself am for sure very low on the totem pole with regards to account size, and yet he has made me feel like I am nothing but the most important client account he has. In this “throw-away” and dispensable day and age, Ilan has managed to completely resolve every single issue I raised with him on an almost by-return-of-email basis. There is no question about it, Ilan and his team are indeed quite unique in their approach and aim for complete customer satisfaction. I can cite several examples of his patience and commitment to customer service ranging from my sign-up period, to security issues with my TransAct logon first time, to issues setting up the Sierra Charting package, and what was most likely my own repeated (and annoying) requests for more and more futures contracts to be added to trade on my account. But, bar none, Ilan took care of them all within hours (if he was out of the office over the weekend) and mostly within the hour if it was during the trading day, which is impressive since I am +9 hours ahead of him, and he recognized that I had may have already been waiting some time. Clearly he had upped the priority of my requests accordingly on each and every occasion. Naturally, the honeymoon period has to end sometime, but I can happily say that the commitment shown by my brokerage partner bodes extremely well for a healthy and lengthy relationship. There is nothing I have seen so far which could persuade me to look outside the marriage. My money is staying with Ilan. Period. I myself have been in the oilfield service industry for 29 years. I am therefore a very harsh and critical judge of service-oriented industries. Of all the other brokerages I have had over the years, there is no doubt in my experience that Ilan and Cannon Trading are at the top of the list for service and delivery. From the very first contact you have with them, I think you’ll agree with me.

Chances are Cannon Trading has the best support I have every seen. I have been around many companies in the finance and IT world. No one ever was so helpful so fast. Jack Engin seems like a Lion when it comes to account management. Everything is answered within seconds.
