I was a bit uncertain about ordering but I couldn't find Cat6a (shielded) blue cable anywhere around in shops - IBM data center of course but not on the street. Got a LOT of antennas atop this apt building and a lot of WIFI routers nearby - above/below and to on 3 sides. I received a 30ft roll via USPS and installed it that night. WOW! Using the cable and a 'Ethernet to USB3.0 adapter' (no Ethernet port in my Dell) my speed REALLY increased. I WAS having a LOT of bufferbloat using the WIFI router Spectrum leased me. I was supposed to be getting 30mbs downlink and 5mbs up but for some reason(s) I was averaging only 20mbs down and 1.2-2.0mbs up and from scans on dslreports I was having a LOT of bufferbloat. So, I switched OFF the WIFI and ran the new cable from the modem directly to my laptop. Now I'm consistently reaching 30 - 35mbs down and 4.5 - 5.2mbs up! There's no more image jitter on my 'Telemedicine' calls and streaming movies run smoothly. If I was still a 'online gamer' I'd likely go for high speed service but this suits me fine for now. Only wish I had fibre - 'full-duplex' - like back at IBM TJW R&D!
