I would not trust a single review from this website. Point in case...I was searching for reviews specifically for Android TV devices. A search result brings up an article on buyersguide labeled "Best Android TV Boxes" I assume because of the name of the website it's similar to consumer reports. Just briefly scrolling through the article I see in the list a Roku device and a Fire TV device, neither of which are Android TV devices! It's like searching for the best Android phones and they write an article that includes iPhones in their list of the top 10 Android phones. The people writing these reviews clearly don't know anything about the products they are supposedly reviewing.

SCAM! Do not trust reviews, obviously sponsored by cheap Chinese knock offs of scam companies

Trying to filter a search does nothing. They put up what they want you to see ignoring any search filters you use. Their suggestion email address is bogus and does not work. Their contact phone number is never answered. Update: So at this late date 2 June 2026, I received an email to provide more of my personal information or as in this quoted in a portion of the email, they will consider the complaint as bogus: "If we don’t hear from you, the company may not be able to recognize your review as genuine." If this does not raise danger signs of phishing I don't know what more they need to address this review.

Hi Quin! Our rankings do vary by page but often the same products are recommended even between similar choices. The suggestion email is absolutely valid and how we hear from users every day -- please send another email if you haven't received a response! We're sorry you had a negative experience with our site and look forward to any feedback!

Buyers guide.org recommends products that are not good quality. The Openear mp3 from BEARTAIN is recommended so many times. I bought a BEARTAIN mp3 for swimming last June and right from the start I encountered problems. So I emailed the company many times and I never got any reply from them. Funny thing is that I send an email to Buyersguide.org and the email came back as mail delivery status: ADRESS NOT FOUND!
