Hi Rhonda, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience—receiving an item in that condition is completely unacceptable, especially when it was advertised as “like new.” While Buya.com is a marketplace made up of independently owned sellers, all of them are expected to provide honest listings and ship items that match their descriptions. If that doesn’t happen, we want to help make it right. Please contact us at [email protected] with your order number and any photos or details you can share. We’ll open a case, investigate with the seller, and do everything we can to address the situation—including refund options if applicable. Thank you for your feedback—we take it seriously, and it helps us hold sellers accountable and improve the experience for all customers. — The Buya Team

Hi Albert, We want to assure you—and anyone reading—that Buya.com is a legitimate online marketplace, operating since 2011 and powered by Bravo Store Systems, a trusted provider of point-of-sale and eCommerce solutions for independent retailers. All transactions are securely processed, and Buya does not collect or store sensitive payment data directly. We understand skepticism is high online, which is why we’re transparent about how our platform works and who we partner with. If you had a specific issue or concern, we’d like to help. Please reach out to us directly at [email protected] so we can look into it. Thank you, — The Buya Team

Hi Jonas, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience—especially the missing cable and the lack of response at the time. Listings should always reflect the true condition and completeness of an item, and we understand how frustrating it is when that standard isn’t met. While your order was placed some time ago, we’ve made significant improvements since 2020—including stronger enforcement of seller listing accuracy, clearer return handling for misrepresented items, and more responsive customer support. If anyone reading this ever experiences a similar issue, we encourage you to contact us directly at [email protected] so we can help resolve it quickly. Thank you again for your feedback—it continues to help us grow and improve. — The Buya Team

Hi Julie, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience—especially with delayed shipping and lack of support at the time. That’s incredibly frustrating, and we understand why you were disappointed. This order dates back to 2020, and we want to assure you (and others reading) that Buya.com has made significant improvements since then. We now work exclusively with U.S.-based, independently owned retail partners—no international warehouses—and we’ve strengthened both our customer support and our seller accountability policies. We appreciate your feedback, even years later, as it continues to shape how we improve. If you ever reconsider, we’d love the chance to earn your trust again. — The Buya Team
